Someone rummage through all those threads and find out who predicted this classic to be his next victim.

and if you dare, http://www.mostwanteduk.com/mostwan...ard-durand.html to give it a listen

Protocultures rework pisses all over this.

Richard Durand needs to stop.

Actually, what would happen if Richard Durand and Sean Tyas did a collab? Would they ever get it finished due to constant reworking?

From his interview at trance.nu:

T.nu: Have you finally reached your goals, or are there more to achieve?

Durand: By far not haha, it feels like I've only just begun.

i was hoping when i saw the title of the thread that this would be a joke, sadly no. whatever. there are a dozen remixes to this song, one more won't hurt, even if it is by Richard Remix

Yeah, and it's very diversified only playing your own crap. This guy is like a second Sean Tyas and he REALLY needs to stop. Now.

At least this time he picked a track that hasn't been remixed to death already.

My thoughts exactly.

if someone can sum up if either/both/neither of the above two posts were sarcastic or not then it'd be appreciated

I'm being dead serious here. Remixing 1998 is a fresh and an exciting idea.

I bet he'll be doing Cafe Del Mar next.

I was perfectly honest with my statement. It's good to see someone taking a genuinely innovative step and remixing 1998 again. I've no idea where he got the inspiration to try it.

How can you say such a thing? The guy is obviously remixing every other classic out there, and I bet he would remix it even if it was already remixed to death. Inspiration hasn't got anything to do with it, he probably wanted to do it before Tyas got his hands on it...

And Hey Boy Hey Girl, Quantensprung, Smack My Bitch Up... (all played in this set) have been remixed much less than 1998. So would you say that he got the inspiration before remixing every single one of them (because, honestly, they all sound like shit compared to the original)?

you guys are just giving durand and tyas more publicity,
