Ya... He has particularly bad luck in that area.

BT ftw. Anyone know what he's been playing in his non-laptop sets?

Posted by Nova21 on Jul-30-2007 16:47:

cool i like old school sets ! thinking about going . I hope he don't play that loves comes again song. He played it like 3 times when he came to M bar.

I wonder what they mean by old school live set.

two turntables & a battle mixer.

Posted by Zild on Jul-30-2007 19:24:

That would work if we were talking about me, but we are talking about BT. He is a producer not a DJ.

Posted by raymond enrique on Jul-30-2007 19:26:

back in the day he would bring out the keyboards and do live sets.

Yea and I wonder who ' they ' are.

I remember when he came 2 m bar. He brought a laptop full of shit. N the opening djs played a bunch of ass. Alex c did good but when the bald guy tried to tag wit him it was a disaster(4 tiesto songs in a row typeof disaster) . Over all a great party
though. The ppl made it happen. Like santos !!!

Posted by Zeonfiend on Jul-31-2007 08:26:

Depending on what time I touch down, I might connect straight to this from Dallas. Expected arrival time is mid-morning 24AUG, it wouldn't be a thing to hop a jump to Houston, snatch a cab and a hotel, catch some BT for the first time ever, and then scoot out the next morning for Killeen. . .plans are forming.

Posted by SpacePooP on Jul-31-2007 21:45:

My bad it is BT's old school live set style. I was wrong, there are just turntables involved.

Posted by progressiveMOJO on Jul-31-2007 22:22:

This show is the day after my birthday, might show up or I might try to find something a bit better to do.

And honestly, I'd almost rather take my chances with BT's laptop fucking up again. My pet cat can beatmatch and key match better than BT can do it without his laptop.

Posted by SpacePooP on Jul-31-2007 22:29:

Well no worries MOJO, not a laptop show.

Posted by Benjamin DuBose on Jul-31-2007 22:48:

The last time on of my friends saw him use vinyl, they said that it kinda became a night mare for him.

I will go check it out. I really hope it turns out to be a good show plus Rich's can get loud enough to make your ears bleed.

Posted by SpacePooP on Jul-31-2007 22:51:

Benjamin, it's BT's old school live set style. Keyboards, CD Players, etc.

dude i remember that douchebag disaster with that guy playing all those tiesto songs in a row and then when bt left without doing an encore or anything that guy came on and played yet more tiesto songs in a row!!

Posted by SpacePooP on Aug-01-2007 01:31:

Do not worry about that. At my promotions and along with Richs we don't stop until the people leave. BT again his doing his live set with keyboards and everything. Again no laptop. Oh and all the local and/or opening DJs I use are all people who will make you dance and will not play multiple Tiesto songs in a row. All be it I have not decided who will be opening yet.

Posted by civicstyle on Aug-01-2007 01:35:

i thought this was a disco productions show

Posted by SpacePooP on Aug-01-2007 01:59:

Donnie and I are partners on all the shows from here on out at Richs starting with George Acosta. The last show I did there, was on my own, was the Ferry Corsten Show / XM and Worldspace Broadcast.

that's exactly the problem. I'd rather watch BT's laptop fuck up than listen to 2 hours of BT trainwrecking because he can't handle vinyl/cd players.

ps: if you need an opener who won't play a single Tiesto song all night, HIRE ME
