I've never seen anything that could be considered paranormal.
saw my grandpa a couple times when I was younger...He died when I was around 2 yrs old so I never knew him.
Both times, he was standing just inside my bedroom next to a picture of me and him that was hanging on the wall.
His ghost was actually blueish white and translucent...It was scary and I didn't really know what to do, so I just watched him for a few seconds then pulled the covers over my face both times. I forgot what happened next, but it seems like I fell asleep/passed out 10 seconds later..
speaking of ghosts, here's an interesting paper on a phenomenon that most people almost certainly would term as haunting. An engineer happened to experience it himself and with some luck was able to figure out what was going on. He then wrote a paper which appeared in the Journal of the Society for Psychical Research. Quite entertaining and not really technical.

yep, i saw one when i was in the shower once at my old house when i was a kid. scared the shit out of me cause it just appeared in the shower curtain. that house was so fucking haunted. i would have nightmares almost every night and my cats would stare at the top of the steps and then freak out.
now i just see orbs and stuff.

I don't believe in ghosts, and I'm sure that opinion will stand until I actually see one, but there was this interesting story my mom told me.
My mom's cousin sister married a chap whose mother was an absolute bitch. She never stopped trying to make her life miserable, and it was horrid for my mom's sis. It so happened that this chap and his mom both died in a car accident. My mom's sis lived alone in that house for about a week before moving into another sister's house, where she lives till date. There was a swing in one of the rooms where that bitch would sit after dinner, and About 5 days into that week, her 'ghost' would appear on that swing screaming/whining/screeching obscenities at my mom's sis in a horrible ghoulish voice, and it terrified the shit out her. My mom and the other sis she lives with now went to stay with her thinking the death had affected her head, but they saw this woman too, and my mom told me that it was the scariest thing she ever saw. Apparently the old woman thought her son's wife had planned/prayed for the death of her son and her for money.
It was decided they would move out of the house the very next day. When my mom and her other sis woke up the other day, they couldn't find her anywhere. I do not know how this happened but she was found sleeping near a well 10 minutes walking distance away.
That story scared the shit out of me when i was a kid, because we have a swing in our house as well.
