Need to get more acquainted with Carl Craigs productions. Any recommendations where to begin?

Agree completely, and it's funny you bring "A Wonderful Life" up because I quite literally just started working on an edit of that w/ parts of the Extrawelt mix of Minilogue - The Leopard to kick of my fall/winter demo.

Huzzah for Carl Craig

His remix of Tiefschwarz - Original is top shit for me atm

love his productions, but maybe i caight him on a bad night when he spun here in montreal at stereo... just weirdness all around from him behind the decks... some sloppy mixes and just overall weird tune selection.. a mixture of some sick detroit stuff and then a bunch of random poppier tech house jams... like the entire muckystar ep nothing awesome about his set at all...

also, gamall or whoever is touring around with him was nothing special either...

as a producer though...

damn.

Rhythm & Sound w/ Bobbo Shanti - Poor People Must Work (Carl Craig Remix)

still nuts for this one

Carl Craig- "Landcruising" =

Amazing Album! The whole album is great, fantastic detroitian deep techno with amazing mechanic (but funky) rhythms side by side to glowing strings, sci-fi samples and vangelis-style cinematics. A very atmospheric and artistic take on techno music indeed (or techno the way it should always be).Deep Machine-Soul at its very best!

Ordered this one today. Hope it's any good.

I much prefer the foot tappings of Larry Craig

lcd soundsystem - someone great (carl craig remix) [DFA records]

good track

Great producer. Wrap Me In Its Arms is a killer tune, especially instrumental version (vocals somewhat ruin the vibe for me)

he is notorious for being a poor dj, especially back in the 90s.
