I got ginger fletcher-incest the other day. now its really fucked up,..cuz the end of the record is random sounds and a voice backwards, but I cant decipher it..(anybody know what it is?)

any other records with goodies/strange things on them?

orbital - halcyon (live mix)

but if you want to know what it says, just spin the record around backward, but not too fast or slow or else you wont hear it correctly

Here's a track that has a voice that, when played in reverse and the pitch is +33%, you can decipher it:

Alphaville - Big In Japan: The Mix (Extended Version) Time: 6 minutes, 5 seconds.
I had the CD for a while but, didn't know that it was a reverse ENGLISH voice (The CD's made in Germany and so is the record label). Then, it just loaded up an MP3 of the track that I extracted from the CD, and reversed the whole track. Then, I noticed that I had to adjust the pitch to hear it better. I adjusted it to around +33% to +66%. Somewhere in that region is the correct pitch to hear it properly. The voice says: "Greetings by Kid and Johnny". If you could find the track, try it out! It's amusing!

i always wondered how the hell do they put in those backwards messages into tunes. i've heard there were some backwards messages in some beatles songs, just don't know which ones.

Oh I saw this thing on TV a little while. It was about the Devil-Church crazy people that thought that the Devil was going to take over the world but it was really freakish to listen to Stairway to Heaven backwards and hear crystal clear the something welcoming devil and cheering him. It is in the middle of the song twice. The track is almost 8 min and after you played a lot of meaningless stuff the two phrases come along, it is creepy.

There is a famous case about a Heavy Metal Band called Judas Priest, they were big in the late 1970's early 1980's.

a couple of kids killed themselves whilst listening to Judas Priest songs and it was claimed that those kids were playing the records backwards so they could hear the subliminal messages.
The authorites took the band Judas Priest to court basicly charging them with manslaughter, saying that cos of those subliminal messages, the band was responsible for the death of those 2 kids.

Anyway after a couple of weeks and playing the said tracks backwards in court, the case was laughed out, as those paticular tracks in question when played backwards sounded more like Pinky and Perky than any devil message.

love this intro... its funny b/c I understand that not everyone here knows who they are, but EVERYONE in US knows.. just a wierd non-transferrable thing from country to country.. but it made me laugh.. anyways yeah, i heard about that and its really stupid.

oooh, just found out: enigma's Camera Obscura is all backwards. if you reverse it, the guy sings some of the lyrics from the other Enigma songs, like "stand up, join us" and "we have the power".

i just don't understand how a backwards message is supposed to subliminally affect you.
