Love is in the air Phantom Hourglass

Simply in love with this game. Simplicity at its best with the mixture of 2 of my favorite Zelda titles, Link to the Past and Wind Waker. The controls are perfect and intuitive looks and feels like a true adventure game. Only a couple hours into it and I can not get enough of this game!

Picked up 2 copies of this today - one for my brother for his birthday tomorrow. Haven't had a chance to play yet, I want to finish off the Oracle games first, I am on the end guy of the password-linked mode for those games. Then it's onto this. A lot of people absolutely love it, even though I am still worried about how the touchscreen controls work.

I do have to say that I am addicted to this game.

How far are any other players?

Defeated the second boss and have the slate at this point. I am venturing back to the original area later today to see where this will take me next.

Ya the same place as you are.

I am amazed at how intuitive this game is....

Blowing....

I just spent 30 minutes trying to transfer the damned sun key. LOL at how I figured it out (Dont feel like spoiling it if the people playing havent made it that far yet) Deals with the sun key and transferring...

About to fight the first boss.

Posted by _Nut_ on Oct-07-2007 01:30:

I am curious to see your thoughts on this yan. I am a DS nublett... especially since I just purchased my DS on Wednesday.

So far I am horrifically addicted to this game
22 years of age on brain age 2 (which is 4 less than my current age, so I take that with a smile)

Side note for Chach and Yan (when you get to this point)

I've done some salvage treasure runs and picked up parts for the ship from the depths of the sea... but they dont appear in my collection after and I cannot add them in the salvage yard. Do you have the same issue?!

Haha ya it took me a moment to think about it but they I looked at the map Did a good amount of playing just now. Got the sun key and salvaged most of the available treasure. I stopped playing just so that I could save it for later I really want to turn it back on.

I am at that point now. And I realize that I could scroll down to find them too... damned if there are that many options available!

Beat temple of courage, I have a question about the one of the treasure chests. There is one on a pillar secluded by a hole but there is no way of getting it.

Posted by _Nut_ on Oct-08-2007 01:39:

I think I know which one you are talking about (I just beat the ghost ship today)... and I can only assume that like much of the game... you will need to backtrack at some point using the latest in gadgets link gets.

Just my thought. I am off to get more sea maps in the next conquest.

What are you suppose to do with the 5 things you have to pull in the room with all the barrels ?

Posted by _Nut_ on Oct-08-2007 13:27:

Did you see the code with the 2 4 5 1 3?

That isnt the order.

Here is a hint. The first one to pull is 4 the second is 1. Took me a while to solve that riddle.

I have a feeling I'll be buying a DS and a Wii, just so I can catch up on the Zelda franchise

Suuuuuuuuuuuch a good game series!

A little history, I've been rockin' it out with the Japanese Phantom Hourglass for most of the summer. The game just keeps getting better and better until I decided to stop half-way (3rd sea map) and promised to finish it in the English version. Now it's finally here in the states! I will finish what I've started. It's an absolutely amazing experience. Best portable Zelda game to date!
Cool

Status: I've got the three fairies, ready to jump on the Ghost Ship.
Before I do that, I'm just sailing around Fishing and Salvaging for underwater treasure. Also, recently gained a class G on wi-Fi Battle.

Feel free to drop down your MyFCs to battle online.

I am back at the Ocean King's Temple. I am trying to get down to the lower floors with as much time as I can (I have 16 minutes to start) but it is a pain redoing all 10 of the floors when if I run out.

Ah well. That is what gaming is for. I did get the SE map, but haven't ventured there yet. I am curious to see how deep this temple goes.
