Holy drought!
So I live in the south east (Atlanta for those who didn't know) and we're in a severe drought. Most of our lakes are about 14' below full and falling about 0.1' a day. There is also talk going on that one of our local lakes which helps provide drinking water may be drained to fill another lake in Alabama which houses an endangered species that's way below normal capacity
In the news they're talking about water rationing and serious legal consequences if you're caught watering outside. It all sounds weird to me
Not entirely sure if this is thread-worthy.

Hell, it had not rained here for 4~5 months until last week, when it finally rained. Unfortunately, though, I haven't seen clouds in the sky ever since
GUESS WHAT?!?!
Its going to fucking rain here for the next few days!
I saw some news yesterday talking about water being brought from Georgia to Florida, due to the drought here too..
Our main lake: Okechobee, it's the lowest that has been in 50 years.
So low, that in some areas you can spot 1950's items like bottles, cans, they even found some bones, they thought someone had been haxxed and thrown in there..but they turned out to be hundreds of years old!

Middle Tennessee isn't much better. I'll post these before and after pics of my yard once more.

Severe isn't the right way to think of it... Severe just isn't severe enough (for lack of any words).
In my profession it is considered to be in a class called 'Exceptional' which is the worst there is:
I also think that Athens Georgia came up with an inventive way to tell people about the water ban:
