VEGETABLES
WEED (420 smoke weed everyday)

People who have "Starbucks Addictions" remind me a lot of people who have ASOT addictions - they all value consistency of quality.

There's no denying that in either situation you are guaranteed the most consistent product possible.

You have to remember, Marc, consistent shit is still consistent, even though it's also shit.

You scared me for a second!

I saw quality in the same sentence as ASOT, and my asshole tightened up.

You've got to remember folks, there's a whole spectrum of colors in the quality rainbow.

Could you start a thread with one of the 26 letters of the english alphabet instead of another character for once please, mr arcadia.

To an extent I think I might be living proof of this.

Still, I really do like cofffeshops better than pubs, but I really prefer coffeeshops that also sell booze (and pot - though it's a bit of a trek for me to get to one of those).

for regular coffee? yes.

I'm talking about black stuff.

No surgar or flavors added in.

Starbucks uses shit quality beans but they mask the shittyness with cream, sugars, flavors etc.

You sure youre not getting starbucks and dunkin donuts confused?
Starbucks beans aren't the best, but dunkin donuts are ALWAYS waaaaaay overroasted/overbrewed. Seriously, every time i get black coffee from there its just like acid water with a coffee flavor. Hell starbucks will only leave their coffee sitting an hour which alone is a huge step up over d&d.

I am sure .

The quality of the beans are better @ Dunkin and they are even better at Mc Donalds.

Maybe it's the D&D ur going to. There is a D&D all over Brooklyn. The regular coffee taste so delicious.

They got 9,001 in the city haha.

I'm just not into all that extra stuff.

I like my coffee hot or iced.. sometimes with only sugar... sometimes with only cream.

carmel iced when i'm in a sweet mood.

oh and Cuban coffee is by far my #1 favorite type of coffee but I will never find that up here.

One of the local newspapers in my area did a taste-test with coffees from various places. I remember 4 of them being Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts, McDs, and Burger King. BK Joe ended up taking #1 in the taste tests followed by DD, McDs, Starbucks.

I've never enjoyed the taste of coffee though myself

Posted by L.E.N. on Oct-24-2007 18:23:

Never got into coffee. I guess that saves me some cash if I was a starbucks addict. Id rather have a smoothie.

Posted by basd on Oct-24-2007 18:29:

Why would anyone want to go to a fastfood shack for coffee? It's a bit like going to a peep show to get a new mop.. It's there, but you don't want to get too close.

Posted by mezzir on Oct-24-2007 18:31:

Man, its weird being in the minority here

That said though, I didn't like starbucks coffee until I really started getting into coffee, being able to tell the difference between different blends by the smell and what coffee should go with what food. Starbucks blends for the most part are pretty damn strong, but I don't even like those that much :/

I guess compare it to learning all about wine and really enjoying it, then going to a store and you ask them what kinds of wine they have and they say 'wine coolers, red wine, and white wine.'
