Workout beats

time to update my mp3 player for the gym

what does everyone listen to while they work out?

Posted by infinity HiGH on Oct-26-2007 17:11:

the stupid radio they play at the gym cause i'm too cheap to buy an mp3 player

Posted by Leon on Oct-26-2007 17:12:

Depends on how pumped you wanna get and what you like

I risten to a lot of stuff when I go to breakdance practice with a friend, usually in studio they play that stupid 70s funk... but when we make our own session I play anything with a steady beat and great drums!

House:
Phil Kieran
Olav Basoki (da beat kicks, crazy song!)
16 bit lolitas
and even some Daft Punk

It's too random to list one artist you know

The ultimate song....

SURVIVOR - EYE OF THE TIGER

i work out at home and tune into

di.fm 'house channel'

80% of the time, the music is awesome. and its great because i don't recognize most of the songs, so it doesn't become distracting!

listen to a little happy hardcore when you're doing cardio

Any chunky, tribally Vibe set. Tribal is amazing to work out to.

Workign out is against my religion but anything up beat would work, Axwell, Steve Angello, David Guetta, Anthony Attella etc

Posted by exstasie on Oct-26-2007 17:33:

PS.

Do ppl still work out? I get my work out on the dance floor!

Posted by electro88 on Oct-26-2007 17:34:

Pryda - Frankfurt, sounds like the Body Break Theme Song

Call on me?

I used to mix tapes for the aerobics intructor in residence, customized for the stretch, warmup, cardio and cool down. The BPMs had to be just right, and had to mix smoothly from one varied tempo to another. I gotta find that cassete tape case I have stored somewhere!
