Q. To anybody whos ever been hung up on a girl

How do you get over her?

Does going out and having meeting new people possibly having sex with them really help at all. I feel like a dumbass for asking but I feel twice as stupid for not having gotten over her yet. my theapist said I should find ways to keep myself busy and meet new people but generally I'm not a socialite. In fact i guess i'm kinof a jerk which is why my girlfriend left me in the first place. Anyhow she doesn't seem to be having a hard time hooking up. She's already got pictures of her new hubbie on her myspace profile, what a bitch we've only ben brkoen up for 2 months and we were together for three years. Still though...
does meeting new people really help? any suggestions on how to have fun. I think I've forgotten.

Please any advice well be helpful and I promise to entertain you all to the best of my ability. LOL

The only thing that can help you is time. Talk about your feelings about her with other woman. Woman like these kind of stories.

I am on a deadend street myself with a beautifull girl i know for 1,5 years. She wants to slow down and I want to step on the gas. She is setting up a traffic school and says she's busy (simple phone calls included). Lot's of fights. So I shared the ups and downs with my love with a insane hot female collegue. Now she's dreaming about me at night and wants to skip work for a day, lol!

Will it make me happy? No!! But it makes me forget my personal problems at work.

To get over my 7 year relationship I started smoking and drinking...that was fun. Hang out with your friends a lot, force yourself to go out even though you dont feel like it. Find a rebound lay as fast as you can.

anyhow i didnt ask you guys until today. been two months plus i discovered she has a picture with a big cum lickin grin n her face and her stupid fuckin face.

I've asked plenty of people and there all giving me the same advice. Nevertheless, I am joyless. not b/c she left me, but goin out havin a good time meeting new people really isn't my thing. however i'm grateful for your advice L.E.N. I think i'm gonna pick up a new hobby, hopefully not drinking. I don't know.

I think you liked this girl way too much.

Don't hate her. Stop dwelling. Move the fuck on. don't look for shit 'that will help you move on' as the only thing that can really help you is for you to just get on with your own thing, whatever it is. There is scarcely any advice other people can give in this scenario.

I am fully aware that moving on is far easier said than done, but you will feel much better if you stop hating her and just forget about the whole thing.
