I apologize in advance for this thread but...

I'm playing at clubs in December since I'm turning 21 in an hour..(needless to say the SECOND midnight hits I'm gettin real shitty) and I need a name for myself. It used to be my name Alex G, but thats already taken. D Shake and Dj Merkin also are taken. So I'm thinking about the following names and I would like y'alls feedback.. here goes:

Dj Podunk
Dj Hoity Toity
Dj Lumpy
Squelch
Dj Vagrant
Wobble Bottom
Puddin' Head
Dj Blue-Footed Booby
Dj Fisticuffs
Dj Pootzer
Dj Gimcrackery
Dj Hoodrat
Dj Barnacle
Hoo Hoo Dilly

Keep in mind I play Funk House and all of these names beautifully describe myself..

If you care for my suggestions, i'd combine a bit of both, for example Fist'n'Cuffs or Dilly Hoodrat or something..

If he's a fictional character, i don't see how it's "taken"?

There's a lot of dj's that use names from movie characters and so on..

If you want my opinion, you'll get my honest opinion. "Hoo Hoo Dilly Nova" ...I don't think that's a name that would fit in a headliner..

Just plain Dilly Nova would sound better, imo. (?)

...err, don't put "DJ" in front of your name.

The only people who put that prefix in front of their names are mobile DJs and other semi-professional hacks (i.e DJ Sammy). It makes you sound like a complete tool doing that. None of the decent jocks in the scene do that.

Try going for something simple and catchy in that case. I think first name and last initial is fine, but very boring and unmemorable.

Stuff like "Sasha", "Tocadisco" etc is one word, unique and easy to remember - go with something like that.
