I think Mohammed is a sacred and revered name to be used only in the most trying of circumstances, such as follows: let's say "one of them" walks into your place of business. This is the time when you elbow your coworker and make hushed but broad, sweeping, and racist generalizations about how you wonder if "Mohammed over there" has anything strapped to his chest.*

back in HS there were a ton of Somalis named Mohammed.

Unfortunately, just adding the name on the top of the cartoon makes the whole thing offensive, which I think is pretty ridiculous. If the name wasn't there, suddenly even more conservative Muslims will laugh at this. That's kinda sad, but it's a reality of the world we live in. Also, it's a small limitiation of the freedom of expression that I don't think will hurt anybody (i.e. not to print offensive material in the mainstream public media).
