A pet monkey

What good is a zebra? I can teach my pet monkey to hurl feces at passer-bys.

If I was rich and had a big farm (and enough craziness to do it), then I'd like to have a pet cheetah. Cheetahs are cool, they run fast and are cute, and on top of that they have a special personality and they can be tamed very well. They can also become very attached to their human owners - almost like a domestic cat or a domestic dog.
