Review: Sasha & Digweed @ Pepsi Forum
I'm a man of few words so don't expect a long ass review.
I must say that from all the massives I've been to, this one takes the cakes for lighting... someone finally got it right!!!
Everyone I spoke to loved the party, everyone was smiles, no complaints there!
Keep up the good work Tribe.
awesome first party tribe, kudos!
first three hours of s&d were awesome... last hour was kinda random but maybe it was just me
sander woke everyone up
aweeesomeee lights... every rave from this point on has some serious competition... as malek said... somebody finally got it right!
my first time partying at pepsi forum and... i dunno... i loved the dancefloor but the bathrooms were a bit claustrophobic... bell center is still my favorite...
tons of out of towners!! Hi Jenn!!! Monika! Viktor! LOUIS! DUDE FROM BURLINGTON I FORGOT UR NAME.
darvin, sam, tracy, ali and selma, erika and maher, YEEEEEEEEE

grrrrrreat party!
sick setup, amazing lights! I just wanted to ride the escalator up and down, over and over just to take it all in!
so much for "dj booth on the left TA meetup". Ran into soooo many peeps, was crazy!
only complaint, no alcohol. wtf? Good thing they allowed people to leave and come back (ie mad dash at 2:30 to cock&bulls down the street for shots).
bed
Just got home!
Got a lot's of fun!
Sasha and digweed did a amazing set! OMG! I love digweed so much!
Sander did a crazy set too,I prefered the second part.
Crazy set up,sound,lights etc...Bravo!
Now time to relax,i'm playing at Mile end tonight! lol
WOW
absolutely amazing.....as soon as i got in i forgot about the horrible lineup we had to wait in for 1.5 hours ....Sasha & Diggers UNREAL but SASHA fuckin OWNED!!!!
In all reality Sasha & Diggers and Sander K were two different parties....I couldn't get into Sander's set after the first 30 minutes so we left....But by far THE SICKEST SETUP for this event....partying in a mall COMPLETELY UNREAL....LIGHTING AMAZING...SOUND was amazing a bit on the louder side but I wouldn't have had it any other way

By far my favourite MTL event
and what made this party perfect was the friends who were there INCREDIBLE!
The only regret is not bringing the camera with me, almost everyone had a camera in there and our search was lame
but that didn't ruin my night....I jammed pretty much alone most of the night one with the music and the energy in that place

well well well, the time has finally come. perhaps the line up of the century. got there at around 12ish, scoped the place out. to be honest i wasn't too impressed with the venue at first sight. dance floor seemed fairly small so i would be a sardine can fo sho! sounds was just retarded. out of all the massive events i've been to i gotta say the sound system owned. lights were pretty cool as well. i noticed an aria influence lol. crowd was as expected, not too young, not too old. spooky's last 30 or 45 min owned! if anyone has the track they played before sasha's intro dont be afraid to share lol. coming into this event i was expecting diggers to really shine last night but i guess i was wrong. sasha's set was destruction. glad to see he wasn't playing the usual sasha sound of prog melodic business but he actually managed to drop some heavy bombs. very impressed by sander K as well. im liking his new tech-house approach. overall perhaps the best party i've been to in a while. no hesitation. lets just hope we dont have to wait another 5 or so years to see these guys side by side again... sleeeep.....
lol the sasha and digweed flash at the top of the forum is still going strong.
I'd love to see pics of said lighting!!!

This was one of the best events i have ever been too. Il post more later as im soooooo dead, but all i have to say is WOW, big props go to Tribe for this one. Only negative thing i have to say about the whole evening was the 1.45 hours i spent in line in the blizzard freezing my ass off, and thats even with VIP tix.
If they can get that right, it will be 10/10 no contest.
As always, love the TAs, you know who you are, you made my night!
so my first party in mtl and it was ok..
i honestly expected a larger venue based on all the hype... no booze? whats up with that?? most disappointing to stand in line for nearly an hour adn then another 20 mins in coatcheck only to run to the bar hoping to buy a few shots and be told u cant....oh well...we made do.
I'll admit the lighting was amazing but in terms of sound, I guess cos its a mall the reverb got a bit much at times...just a small note.
As for the sets....I think I'm getting too old (at my young age)...I like the S&D set but it was only bangers...wasnt any build or direction in the set like they are known for. I guess they played how they know u guys like it...hard and fast
overall, i'd give the party a 7/10.
good set by s+d, but i expected something more from them tbh ...
spooky was awesome, my favorite set of the night
sander was pretty cheesy so i didnt stay till the end
cool lightning, but daft punk was better hehe
sound was funken loud, my ears were ringing so much afterwards
good stuff, kudos to tribe
8.5/10
just a quick review
around between 12 and 2 there was at least a 1hr wait in the line up outside in the snow. Trybe should have been more prepared with having a faster access to the building.
4$ coatcheck !!!! you want my credit card with that ? WTF thieves
drinks : after the coat check i thought the drinks would have been way too expensive but it was at a reasonable price like any other big event.
The crowd was great... really into it, only a bit too much guys tho but really great vibe !
The setup was amazing ! Great lights like Malek said.
I wasn't paying too much attention to the djs so I couldnt tell exactly when it was sasha or digweed but I really enjoyed the music. I had some energy downs so times and I wish I could have been more into it cause I really enjoyed the music. For Sander K, I thought it was supposed to be a DVD-dj set. I did not see anything close to dvd set visuals but what is more important is the good music and Sander delivered no doubt. Couldn't ID any of the tracks played tonight cause I dont follow this genre enough to know everything. I missed Spooky cause I was waiting outside.
great seen a couple of you... Malek, Markus, Verms, Louis, Piper, Bertuzz, Monica, bo18 and others... turned out that Gaby and I were with mutual friends that night.. hehehe like you said what a small world.
all in all, great night and couldn't be more happy to see Sasha & Digweed
I wish you all a happy new year in advance... I wont be at Resolution this year. Family reunion is happening at my house this year and I bought Grey Goose so I'll be eating like a pig and get drunk with my cousins. So for sure I wont be in too good condition to go to Resolution after.
take care everyone
and why wasnt coat check included in the ticket price?
talk about milking the cow
