Now, I know most of you are Britney-haters and bashers and I am not innocent of making fun of a hoebag myself but I find the whole situation really fucking messed up. I know that majority of us don't give two craps about some celeb with lots of money who's life turn to shit - it secretly (admit it) makes you feel better about your own life and realize that celebs are not disaster-proof. However, this girl is in deep trouble and unless some divine intervention or serious will power takes over, she'll be dead and burried in record time. I'm wagering before the year end.

According to celebrity news Web sites, Spears locked herself in a room with one of her children and went into hysterics when aides of Federline arrived to pick up sons Sean Preston, 2 and Jayden James, 1, from a court-authorized visit. TMZ.com said Spears was expected to remain hospitalized under evaluation for her mental state for at least 48 hours. Us magazine, citing a hospital source, said Spears had been designated a "special needs" patient and was under constant watch. Another source told the magazine that in the ambulance Spears had to be restrained like a mental patient and that she "was going between laughing and hysterics." Cedars-Sinai declined to comment, citing patient confidentiality. Spears lost primary custody of the boys in October to Federline after her life spun out of control following their divorce, her stints in rehab, a bizarre head-shaving episode and reports of drinking and drug use. She is currently undergoing court-ordered random drug and alcohol tests and has court-monitored visits with her children three times a week. Spears, who became a teen pop phenomenon nine years ago, has rarely been out of the news since her split with Federline in November 2006 after two years of marriage. She made her musical comeback in October with a new single, "Gimme More," and an album, "Blackout," that played strongly on radio and digital download charts and briefly hit No. 2 on the U.S. pop album charts. Oh yeah??? please elaborate? Coz I walk Philly streets quite often and see some crazy motherf*ckers roaming the streets that are waaaaaaaaaay more dangerous and scary than Britney. Why don't you try having paparazzi follow your every foot step for years, never having a second of privacy, all your life wide open and there's a feeding frenzy surrounding every detail of it? Why don't you have your every move judged, scrutinized, published and televised on daily basis and see how you hold up. What do ya say?

so, using your logic she's guilty of being another number in the 2/3 of this planet's population? Or do you think that Federline would be a positive role model for these kids? Besides, can you substantiate your argument about her being a nutjob with the kids, aside from how media wants to portray her? What? Driving with a kid in her lap (to flee cameras)? We say if she would stop doing stupid shit, she woudnt be as exposed as she is now. She gets followed because people know shes bound to do something stupid and tabloid worthy.

Also she has fucked up too much. If a judge tells you, either to drop the drug and booze habit or loose your kids you dont keep the habit and then bitch about the injustice of it.

I don't care either. I think she's a few sandwiches short of a pic nik and she might commit suicide soon. Let's hope she gets help.

It's a vicious circle, IMHO. If you ever have kids and have to face a divorce, your life exposed at every corner - it becomes a daily nightmare. The sheer stress of the personal situation, with added weight of watching yourself and your actions for millions to ridicule must be unbearable. Some people are not strong and turn to booze, drugs, etc. I have two friends who are divorced and based on their accounts, I'd say it's one of the hardest things one would ever face. More so, if children are involved. I am living a daily nightmare of dealing with a religious fanatic in my house, and let me tell you - given the choice between drugs or Jesus, I'd prefer if my wife was hooked on drugs - those I hear are easier to get off of.

I got two kids and thinking of what a divorce would do to them, not mention to me and my spouse, I'd say it's one strong deterrent. But once you walk that plank, all that's there turns to shit and it's like having the weight of the world crashing on top of you. I've had times when I got shitface drunk to forget the pain... My wife had a moments of total insanity, like today she kicked a hole in the wall with her foot in anger. We all are HUMAN and do fucked up shit under stress. You have no idea how you would react, unless you walked a mile in her shoes. Don't fall into an escapist trap and say "fuck her, she should do X or do Y and all will be well", coz you have no clue.

I really do feel for her, crazy as she is - shame to see a once fine piece of ass go to such a waste.

Just look at her, what she does, when she should be looking after the kids. Whatever federlines pros/cons you don't hear about him doing all these bad things with his kids. Britney is like most of americans of her status, like the Hiltons, Lohan, whoever, they need a good dose of reality because most people wouldn't get the chances she has, the money, to raise 2 good kids. How much do you wanna bet that they'll end up like her, then mulitply into more & we'll just keep on seeing more pollutants unleashed on our planet. Many people do a hell of a better job with a LOT less resources. And you ask me how to substantiate the argument? just look at her, she didn't turn upto court, it looks like she then did drugs of some sort. Nuff said.

Pretty much, dude. Why should she get any more attention for doing this than some unknown woman in the middle of fuck-knows-where? Why should we care about this any more than that person? Because she's "famous?" You're looking at results of a melt-down, not the cause or momentum that set it off. It's very easy to wave it off and say what you're saying, I'm guilty of it as well. But sometimes it's not as easy, once you start examining minute details. You can always say "Titanic sank, people died" and be correct. But you're not looking at everything that resulted in a catastrophe and enormous loss of life. I'm not comparing Brit to Titanic in terms of importance, mind.

I am actually quite repulsed by her behavior but I do understand. Oh, and in parting, please don't finger point at yanks and say that we are any more fucked up than limeys. Look at your royal wank family (esp. princes), at premium douche export to U.S. - e.g. Posh Spice and Becks, and rest of the looney cast like Jamiroquai, Ms. Sovereign, etc. Your anti-U.S. rhetoric is predictable and a tripe worn-out cliche.
