extreme pass on this one. He hasn't put together an interesting set in over two years. Good one having it at Wetbar this time instead of 1150.

Bring Markus Schulz in if you're going to do trance. I'd most definitely attend that one, and last time he was here I was 20 and the show was 21+

You should reconsider. I saw Ferry in Charlotte in October 06 and he put on a good show! Very good mixing, and some nice tracks to boot

I'd be there but....ya'll know already

Why would you choose to miss this one? I guess it's your choice, but this is exactly what I was hoping for this year. I've heard some really good stuff from him.
I have not been to wetbar yet, but have heard good things, especially from you iammesol. Just curious what parking is like there and is the dj booth in a better position than at Opera?

If you are a cheap SOB like me, you can usually find free street parking one or two blocks down on the right. Otherwise, there's a bunch of pay lots in the area.

I can't explain to you how much better Wetbar is than Opera. I'll try though.

1) There is seating. If you get tired, you can just walk up a slight ramp and chill in its hugeass lounge area.

2) There are TONS of bars. No need to wait in line for a drink. Just go get it.

3) SPACE! It is almost double that of Opera's!

4) Sound! The sound system in Opera reminds me of a playing music inside a trashcan. The sound system in WetBar reminds me of headphones but multiplied so much that if you stand the right place... your chest will hurt from the bass

5) It's WetBar. The main crowd is gay people who come to dance and enjoy music, not the uppity peepz at Opera who come to be the shizz.

6) Just for you, the booth is situated right next to the dancefloor. There are stairs to an area (that is not VIP!) where you can actually look through a window at the DJ. Often times during the early hours the booth is entirely open, so you can pop in, shake some hands, and continue with your business.

In conclusion...

WetBar WetBar WetBar. Do more shows at WetBar.

I saw him in 2007 here in Atlanta and it fucking sucked. Pardoning Opera being a shit club Ferry just did not play anything interesting. And he isn't right now from what I can gather.
