I hate to say this..... but I agree with you.

LOL @ thread and replies.

Posted by Fledz on Jan-28-2008 00:17:

Well it's better than I expected it to be. Nothing mind blowing but it's not shit.

I don't get why people seem to think that if it's a chick that it's such a massive achievement to produce a track. They aren't mindless kitchen and laundry puppets you know

I'm kind of disappointed though as I was expecting vocals. No vocals makes this a fairly standard track

Sounds like a bunch of presets EQ'd fairly well I guess, an ompa-tss bass line and a poor mixdown.

Great job, quit Cubase plz, use something that doesn't let you record.

Enh, some of those chords were rather unfortunate, I must say.

Yep, really not feeling this one.

What? No one told me.

On second thought, ajunabeats might sign this.

Yeh, ajunabeats might, but definetly not Anjunabeats.

"use something that doesn't let you record". what the F is that suppose to mean?

Flew right over your head mate.

Posted by Lunar Phase 7 on Jan-28-2008 12:32:

LOLs, I've still yet to hear the track, but the thread make me lol so much.

Also it's fucking Dave Pearce who chose it, so it's not gonna be groundbreaking is it?

And massive plus one about the woman comment.

Oh please Robin Hood, he knew what I meant and excuse me for being a little old school with my terminology. Dumbass.

Ahm, is this what scene has come to? Newbie production of a bog standard formula gets picked by international bigwhig and played on Radio 1? Wasn't there any better track than this?

We are suppose consider this a marvelous feat from an unsigned artist?!

The structure is simple, the sounds are generic (presets galore) and there's absolutely nothing that hasn't been done 1 million times before. The producer might very well develop into the next PvD or what have you but there's a lot more work to be done and stuff to learn.

There are lot better bedroom productions out there IMO.
