My buddy won't drink jake daniels because of one SPECTACULAR night in which he drank 2.5 cups of straight jd in 30 seconds combined...followed by projectile vomit.

My sister wont drink tequilla just because she got sick,

but I can't think of any drink that i wont touch just because of one bad night. zambooka doesn't count cause it's always gay.

just wondering everybodys thoughts.

oh, just for fun, drugs are also included in this thread.

I didn't get sick, but one time I beer bonged a bunch of Jack Daniels Down Home Punch with a shot of vodka in it, and it felt like I got kicked in the chest by someone who is really good at kicking people in the chest.

Now the smell of the shit makes me gag a bit.

It happens to most. Tequila did it to me for a while after I had my "tequila night". You know the one where you've had too much tequila and you're praying to the porcelain god wondering where in the night it all went sour. Yeah. Couldn't even smell it without having a horrid flashback. But now it reminds me of Mexican food and I fucking LOVE Mexican food, so I can drink that shit straight.

edit // as for now it's gin, I just can't stand the smell. I can drink it in a mixed drink, but shots will make me vomit.

+1 on Bacardi Limon for sure, awful stuff. I can't smell Smirnoff vanilla vodka (worst idea ever) without dry heaving. Oh, and Guinness, too. All related to near-death (at least felt like it) blackout experiences. Though I had one of those with vodka/Red Bull and I still love the stuff, weird.

i noticed it's more common in the flavored liquors. i for one can not smell/drink bacardi razz or limon, but other rums i'm fine with. the only liquor i can keep vomiting with and keep drinking is vodka.

i cant drink flavored vodka with the single exception of effen black cherry. other than that i cant stand flavored vodka at all. also tequila and rum make me want to puke so i dont ever do them straight.
