As I promised in the first thread, here are some opinions after the first listen:
Another brainfuck album by Autechre. I was secretly hoping they would go back to ambient sound of Incunabula and Amber, but they are sticking to this complex, and sometimes very hard to listen sound from their last album. Someone used the term "mathcore", and while it sounds incredibly stupid, I think that's the best way to describe this kind of music. All in all, if you didn't like Holden's debut album, you'll hate this one. Here are some tracks off it that I liked:
Paralel Suns - moody, dark ambient beauty
Tankakern - a proper IDM tune in the sea of noise and glitch
90101-5l-l - nice bass on this one
Chenc9 - favourite tune of the album, starts crazy fast but slows down towards the end. Very complexly programmed
Outh9X - Sweet dark lullaby that perfectly closes down this dark album

My favourite track would be Scramble, collaboration with Slackbaba. Collabs with Jam El Mar didn't really thrill me, although I expected alot from it, since it was the first trance production in which he's been involved after a long time. I see now that Space Bird is released as a single, with Dubfire remix. God I don't want to hear that...

BTW, that Wolf-Head track, is that example of this new subgenre called Psy breaks (or something like that)?
