i think its probably fair to say his personal beliefs are framed by his religious beliefs. They generally are, thats what religion does.

no, his religion is the ONLY thing relevant here. the only people that will equate homos with something like earthquakes are religious people, and only the super ignorant/prejudiced ones.

find me a SINGLE person that says earthquakes are a punishment from god because of dirty fags, who isnt a religious nutjob.

and barbina, im sorry you cant go to the camp because these camps would obviously focus upon male homosexuals, because male "religoes" arent bothered by lesbians. you know, because there's that intrinsic beauty and "rightness" of the clit-clash

I'm not religious myself, so I'm not being defensive in any way. I just don't like such statements. I know A LOT of awesome, rational, intelligent religious people. The common factor here is that the people are nutjobs, not religious.

And also, just because he's active in a religious party - it doesn't mean that what he said is the general opinion of the party. It could be, but since that was not stated, I think that such generalizations are unnecessary.
