So i never thought of myself as materialistic.. until today(car pics !)

i got to drive 5 exotic cars around with my gf in the san diego desert all day yesterday and while i thought i didn't even like cars (actually thought about just selling my car recently) i found out, i was totally wrong.

i was just never driving the right ones

i thought it would be my fav to drive but it wasn't... it does have 4 wheel drive so i was doing about 80mph around 25mph limit turns but the gear shifter (since they're all paddles) is very jerky. you'd hit it and the car would lunge you fwd. the ferrari's were SO much smoother and alot more fun

Atleast its better than the civic I drive now

ps. did a double-take and that not just any run-of-the-mill normal Gallardo, that's a frickin SUPERLEGGERA!!!! That shit is one of the fastest exotics on the planet!!! Arguably a faster circuit car than the Murcielago LP640!!!

there's a company that you can pay to do it, thankfully we had a connection within the company and got to do it pro-bono.

my fav was the Ferrari 430, incredibly fun to drive, sleek yet loud enough you knew what you were driving. the most sporty and fun, we got that baby up to 140

yes it was indeed a Super Leggera we got her up to about 120 but we were in a lot of turns when we had that car so it was tough to get her going.

@ Ted Promo - that's why i took the pic! the Lambo was the only car to have a boring console(while everything else in it was awesome) and no radio!?!?!? they come like that, when i asked the guy goes 'when you drive a car like this the last thing u want to listen to is a radio getting in the way of your engine'

Dude, it's the Super Leggera, built with less amenities than the GT3. It's the hardest-core modern exotic you can get. Think F40.

Dude, go test drive a 2004-2006 M3 (01-03 are generally more worn, so you don't get the same tightness, unless low km's). Nowhere close to being an exotic, but it's a driver's car and you'll get more bang for buck (plus luxury) than those exotics. If it was pure driving experience you were after (and didn't care about interior) I'd recommend the WRX STi to renew your love for cars

Nissan 350Z, Mazda RX8, Infinity G37..meh. Nissan GT-R is a 911 Turbo beater, so it's right up there in the exotic category (i.e. unattainable yet! $$$ lol). What else...I guess the 'Vette is a perennial fave, especially the new '06-07s with all its improvements. It's a 360-beater, according to a show I saw on TLC once.
