i just bought a Canon SD1000. check the reviews on it to see if it fits what you're looking for. it's definitely really tiny and would fit in a pocket, no problem. i'd definitely recommend buying a Canon over a Casio.

My mum has the Casio Exilim EX-S880. Bought it for her about 6 months ago, she wanted a simple point and click with a big LCD. I picked this over a Canon model as the menu in the Exilim is really intuitive and easy to use.
I'm looking for a small camera at the moment, will probobly get the new Exilim EX-S10. Its out now/soon I think, but I'm waiting for some reviews to filter through first.

I just trod on my old sony cybershot camera. Now it's the best slim one in the world!
And I'm looking at getting into digital slr cameras next time I buy one. Not sure what to get yet but I have plenty of time to consider it.

casio knows dick about cameras compared to canon and nikon.
one thing that is a no go for me with casio's...their fucking data cable. its NOT standard. you MUST use the dock unless you have a media reader. and if you lose the data cable you cant just run to the local electronics store and get a mini usb cable. its some proprietary cable. i have lots of mini usb cables. makes it easy if i cant find the one i usually use.
Time for a brief hijack.
I think I'm going to buy a f/4 Canon L 300mm prime lens (with IS), and use it with a Canon L 1.4X tele-converter. This will effectively give me a 420mm prime lens (apparently, with no loss of image quality due to the tele-converter as well).
I was looking at the Canon L 100-400mm, but I know that it gets a bit soft at full focal length, which is how I would be using it 90% of the time.
Thoughts? Comments?
