no.

but mau5 gave up his name for sex which is understandable. specially in spite of her pictures..id hit it

Posted by Noober on Mar-19-2008 07:15:

i always pronounce it as "dead-moe" or dead mao
even though its deadmouse

Posted by deadmau5 on Mar-19-2008 10:55:

allow me to clear up some speculation on this one...

in foreword, Sydney Blu has been involved with / knows the house music scene quite a fair bit more than i do... i've wanted to do a collaboration with her for some time actually, and im glad we finally got around to it as we both have busy schedules.

I did do the engineering on this track no doubt... and yeah, loads of my equipment was used, but Sydney was in the chair givin the orders and laying down the midi parts to the melodies, bassline, and arrangement... thus making it more hers than mine... i suppose my production techniques and methodology are unmistakably mine, but Blu was at the helm on this one folks... and she deserves a good deal of credit for it.

so a congratulations is in order to Blu for churning out this one and showing the world that Toronto has alot of talent plugged into the EDM scene.

i heard tiesto on club life 018 pronounce it "dead mau 5".
and the next week on his show he pronounced it "deadmouse."
thus proving tiesto is a newb.

i just pronounce it "deadmouse" because all that other shit is nonsense.

ps - love the music joel, keep it up.

Does this really do anything to dispel the rumours of the initial question, or does it just further confirm it?

I'm pretty sure each & every one of us could 'produce' a chart topper if we had a top shelf producer doing all the work while we sat there & barked orders.

Just my $0.02

he interpreted her ideas into a song..

if i had an idea for a website, and got a top deisgner/coder to do it for me, should he get ALL the credit for the "IDEA" of the website??

i think not

that's all well and good, but you probably wouldn't be fucking the website designer to get a free website only to further your career with whatever "idea" you happened to have.

No.. it would actually be "if a webdesigner had an idea and asked a fellow webdesigner to do a site."

Some correct pronunciation finally! Unbelievably, Tiesto has gone up in my estimations. Whatever next?

I think the track is great. It does sound like your productions but there is somewhat a different feel to it. I love the bass in the song, very well engineered IMO.

Find a little evil perpetrator and feed him to the hungry alligator

Posted by Orko on Apr-09-2008 10:58:

No different than going to a friend's house to make a track, and having them show you the equipment.

If deadmau5 said it happened it a certain way, I'm going to believe him until otherwise proven wrong.

And, please leave the sex talk about it. Unless you have had it, you shouldn't be talking about rumors of other people having it.

Just heard this track. 0.5/5
