Smiley DJ Harder, Faster,........

This week we talked about Scooter. Many don't know Scooter started with Trance in 1994 like "Cosmos" and "Rhapsody in E". In the same year they also released "Hyper Hyper" which many probably can remember.
But there was also another version of this track called "Harder, Faster, Scooter". I still like that one. It's ultra uplifting and I like the piano at the end.

Wo can remember this one, and if unknown what do you think of it? I think it's one of the most uplifting tracks ever. This one made the crowd go wild.....enjoy (or don't..)

Is there any Scooter song without those dumb vocals?

Unfortunately not, except the few unknown trance tracks and some remixes. Without them and the awful German accent they probably would have been among the best trance producers ever. If you don't mind or listen to the vocals you'll see the music underneath it is brilliant. But it's obvious they did make a choice already in the year they started, in which direction they wanted to go. And they never changed that.

Ohh, to answer your question correctly:

The vocals at the beginning of Cosmos are just at the album, not at the original track:

didn't you listen the "rhapsody in e" track at all ?

there are actually plenty of them, even from the most recent tracks there are always the club mix version which hasn't got the hp baxter speeches. but most of them are still crap. 90% of scooter tracks are just afwul, but they have produced some catchy pop dance tracks (like "the first time"). while most of the time scooter is considered a joke in the trance scene, everyone should remember that they did produce that one trance song that is more trance than anything armin, tiesto, ferry and co have ever wrote.

Who knows? Is the voice used in "Cosmos" are real voice or synths? I always thought it was a real voice, but after listening carefully with headphones I started to doubt that.

This is not techno you clown! At least TRY to think or LEARN before you post R.E.T.A.R.D. You can do it-yes, there are still braincells in there i feel them! (well , no more then 2 or 3) And wtf, you call this "Techno bollocks" only to suggest Chris-Fucking-Liebing...man really...there is a neuron somewhere within your hollow skull...it still fires every now and then...

Anyway, "Rhapsody in E" and "Cosmos" are excellent classic trance tracks although i didn't like "harder, faster, scooter" in your first post. In the vein of classic hard trance though i recommend another very good classic hard trance track by Scooter:

Scooter- "Back In Time" (1995)

similar (but better IMO) tracks which were released in the same year (or a year after):

M-Zone - "Interlect" (1995)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Hvl...feature=related

Steve Baltes- "Naked Brunch" (1994)

I know that Chris Liebing is techno you idiot, more particularly "Schranz techno" you "dumbfuck" ("industrial techno" doesn't exist asshole, you obviosuly didn't learn that when you've learned about techno last week after the "prog-house revelation" that you had 3 weeks ago...), the reason i mentioned him is because from all techno producers you mentioned Chris Liebing who is trashy-schranz, kiss my ass nube lol.

I was not referring to Chris Liebing, i was re-stating his referrence to "Scooter as techno".

This is classic hard euro-trance, like the stuff that Bonzai used to release. They are indeed raw and instant to the point that they are somehow stupid. The point of this is not to be sophisticated in any way though.

This argument is like watching two people with no hands trying to arm-wrestle.
