Unbelievable really. I'm one of the more optimistic fans you'll ever meet, but not even I would have dreamed of us having this good of a season.

after what Gainey's been through personally, and pretty much every European who's played for the Habs, it would indeed be a story book ending. 'Ain't gonna happen though

WAIT A MINUTE

YOU LIVE IN... SENS LAND

YOUR BAD !

Posted by Spin Laden on Mar-25-2008 20:46:

But I cheer for the Canucks! In any case, I'd like to see Edmonton somehow squeeze into the playoffs too, with the Leafs being the only Canadian team on the outside

Posted by Bertuzz on Mar-26-2008 03:33:

If anything, I hope the Sens choke with their rotating goalie disaster!! Ideally, it'll be NJ vs OTT in the 1st round. The better Martin will win, Brodeur that is!

Even keeping Gerber in the playoffs is sketch. Remember 2005 when the habs chased Gerber from the net after a couple games and Ward came in and took them to the Cup?

One year my buddy who was teaching English in Korea watched a game from my computer here in Ottawa as I just pointed my webcam to my tv and left the room for an hour or so. Too bad these games aren't on the web like the NCAA tournament, unless I'm wrong here otherwise.

you are wrong my friend

on cbc.ca they stream for free almost all the games of all the canadian teams on the weekends (maybe also some during the week). you just pick the one you want to see.
http://www.cbc.ca/sports/ a link will be clickable in the media player to watch the games available.

also now RDS offers to watch a habs game online for 3$ per game or for a limited time for less than 30$ all the games left for this season plus all potential ones for the playoffs.

there's always NHL center ice online... same as rds but all nhl games every day.

or you could try to find a webtv streaming software to watch whatever available on the channels they have.

Posted by Marcus007 on Mar-26-2008 23:00:

rds just came out with an internet montreal service

check it out

Posted by elFreak on Mar-27-2008 05:06:

with nhl on demand i can tivo it for my other canadian buddies that unlike me have bosses and times they have to be at work. Its only 6 bucks a game...money well spent imo. Plus i can get any game i want (id like to watch more than just les glorieux)

Well, for some reason he couldn't do all that in S Korea. This was a few years ago and he's pretty tech savvy too.

you mean like cause the web sites are blocked ?
thats sucks cause the cbc streaming is very very good.
its not sharp like on tv but enough to watch a game. Its has also a good frame rate.
