My Bday Bash w/ Taj | Josh Allen April 18th **Venue Changed**

Due to unfortunate circumstances (beyond my control) we are forced to change the venue for the bash this friday as Forbidden Fridays will no longer be held at forbidden city.

Fortunatly it is just down the street off Sunset Blvd at Boardner's
All details are the same...

$10 B4 12AM w/ RSVP and all DJ's are still confirmed, BUT we close at 3AM instead of 4AM

www.boardners.com
1652 cherokee ave
hollywood, CA

sorry for the confusion, just happy to still be celebrating the bash with everybody. See you then

UGH! Did Hip-Hop take over Forbidden City too?

Never been to Boardners. What's it like?

Posted by djjoshuaallen on Apr-16-2008 15:14:

Im not sure what is going to go on at forbidden, but the promoters were over them anyway and were moving to boardner's in may. So the move is just going to be earlier then scheduled.

Boardner's is cool, we had Matt Darey and Mark lewis there last summer, when we were doing a weekly thursday. It has a sick patio and a nice size main room. very intimate i think it can hold 400, we will bring in our own sound as well to be sure its bumpin

the website doesnt have many pics, but check it out www.boardners.com

this will actually be better...

I like Boardners wayyyyy better than Forbidden Crappy

plus it'll be a fresh crowd showing up

I think either way it will take you 5+ hours to get ready

Posted by TSG on Apr-16-2008 22:18:

hahahaha... I like chocolate cake and I also like lemon cake.

Techno-Twins, just dress how you want, nice & comfy. Just don't over do it by trying to be all fake Hollywood whatever you call them.

Jess and her friends love to get ready, that is the best part of the night for them, they just like to look nice. Nothing wrong with that, as long as you dont judge others who dont feel the same way about it. And those that dont feel the same way, should not judge those that like to take 2 hrs to get ready.

but its a nice spot, not really clubby vibe, but im sure you can make it happen. I know Jess is going to look like a million bucks as usual

and i love ice cream cake, just not on the face

Hi! Ok, so the crowd that goes to these kind of places dress casual. Nothing too dressy (thank god, this place is not a "trendy" Hollywood club). It's definitely not a "dress to impress" environment. Just wear something cute, but casual and comfy at the same time.
