So where is this event going to be? Does anyone know? Won't be able to make it down to LA this weekend but just curious.

Described as �The DJs, DJ� Anthony Pappa truly is a master of his craft and one of the most respected and revered DJs on the international circuit. After a couple of years focusing on gigs at the best clubs on the planet, in 2008, Anthony has turned his attention back to producing music. He�s set up his own label, Red Light District, home to his first original track in quite a while � Outback � released back in March. And just last month, Anthony released the triple CD �Moments�, internationally, which finally gave him the scope to dig into all four corners of his record box, and demonstrate the scale of his appreciation for electronic music.

Adam Helliwell was what you might call a late bloomer to DJing.... During his time at the university, Adam was inspired by sets from Oakenfold and Sasha during the hey day of Cream. Early gigs included Blessed @ Gatecrasher, The National Centre for Popular Music in Sheffield, and the ubercool Mello Mello bar in Liverpool. He was then headhunted by 3 Beat, one the worlds leading suppliers of underground dance music. He now resides over the techno/tech house and breaks departments (a genre that 3beat did not specialize in until Adam joined the team). Working at 3Beat has allowed Adam to serve many of the djs that first inspired him to become a dj such as Sasha, Digweed and Danny Howells.

plus, first time i saw anthony pappa was in manila in the late 90's, he was just starting out and was with global underround but already was well known and he flew in from australia...twas good times indeed and will be good times again!

I would be there but we will be in SF this weekend. I hope Red can pull it off. Would love to get Circus back. Going to be tough on a holiday weekend. Virtually everyone I know will be out of town.

They dicked RED so hard this time and Gene has dicked them over so many times already. I dont understand why anyone would want to.... nevermind.

Go support RED.

YES Gene needs to pump money into the club. yeah his gay nights make ton of money, but he needs to make a goddam decision. Support a real EDM night and give it his all with RED or GTFO of the game and stick to his gay nights. his real money maker.

If i had a message to give to Gene, it would be its not all about the money. Its often about heart and no one has a bigger heart than the boys of RED IMO.

DEFINITELY was a HUGE mistake and I hope a lesson was learned!

I know this weekend is going to be a bit tough in bringing in people. If we can show CIRCUS that we at least tried, I'm pretty sure we will be able to get our home back.... yes the mainroom!
Circus is not a place for Hip-hop, never was and never will be!

hahaha, yeah I know but I've been chewed enough here at work lately and I don't need anymore from anybody!
Regardless of how you feel or anyone else... at least we will be able to hang out again at our favorite place! For many of us it was a place to get rid of some stress, unwind, and chill with friends.
I know that I for sure was in need & missing my weekly visits!

I'm SOOOOO there!

I'm really thrilled about this chance to return "home" this weekend! These past few Saturday nights without Circus haven't been the same... I miss everyone so much and I can't wait to get my HOOP on!

We should all start inviting EVERYONE we see! You know, the people at the gas station, the grocery store, in the elevator at work, in nearby cars during traffic...
