[Group C] Netherlands - France
Look who's back

Hail Robben
what you guys think?
i'm taking an extended lunch break to watch this match at my regular pub....
looking forward to this match
come on holland.
The French didnt look sharp AT ALL during their opening game. But considering the interview where Gallas i believe openly critisized Domenech for his defensive approach, i think the french will be extremely eager for this one.
Gonna go for the cheeseheads though, comon holland.
Letsz go bold:
4-1

If the french play the way they did against romania they're fucked. Thats all.

I like both teams (maybe Holland a little more), but I want this to be an opportunity for some of the youngsters and less-known players to start shining, so I'm hoping for a good game from Benzema, and Huntelaar off the bench. I wouldn't mind seeing France win though, because they'll need the points (as Holland can make them up later vs. Romania), and I really don't want Italy to make it out of the group stage, so if they screw up tomorrow, I'll be well pleased.
Was reading on the madrid website that robben will be coming off the bench and playing a little. Netherlands to win it 2-0
Should be a good match, obviously Holland will be facing a completely different team than Romania did. I'd like to see something from Benzema and Nasri as I've never seen them play before but have heard nothing but great things.
Benzema looks decent and Nasri looks none too bad but I haven't really seen enough of them to rate them yet.
Should be a close affair this one, the French need to pull out all the stops to try and win and the Dutch don't sit back so I'm hoping for a good attacking game.

Guys i heard Benzema will start as a substitute

call me cocky but i predict a win for france. at the very least a tie.
2-1 Netherlands
3-2
5-1.
Sneijder twice, Van Persie twice and Kuijt. Own goal from Matthijsen. Gallas gets sent off in 34th minute. Henry sees a penalty stopped by Van der Sar early in the game.
Really hoping for a draw but realistically I don't think its going to happen. If Holland play like they did against Italy then they'll win atleast 2-0 as France just don't look the part especially without their experienced captain and striker(Henry & Vieira)
Put it this way: France can't possibly play worse than they did against Romania and Holland can't possibly play better than they did against Italy. So I think it could be a tight game.
Holland have the huge advantage of France's need to win. Given how awesome the Dutch counter-attacking was against Italy, it will suit them down to the ground if France throw everything at them.
Don't bury us too fast! Our team is always here when no one is expecting us, remember 2006 against Spain!
Holland won't defend with 11 players like the romanians so we will have more place for counter-attack.
I predict 0-1!
