Masterful.
cool
Gonna wait till the PS3 is $250 before I buy one though
yeah, plain out awesome, i've stopped playing it in hopes of forcing myself to get my surround sound put in within 2 weeks (should enrich the experience cause so far im like 30 mins into the fucking thing and its amazing), and concentrate more on MGO or the new DBZ game until then.
By DBZ, do you mean dragonball z??????
Lol what other dbz is there? And ya surround sound on this game is ridiculous. Everything about this game is perfect.
Everything except the awkward camera angles, and some control issues.
Been playing it since yesterday, but not deep in enough to really say that it is 'masterful'. Polished, yes...
Is there a 30 minute cutscene

It is awesome like god damn.
And this is with 0 time put in MGO, as of yet.
The story is getting awesome with every 15 minute cinematic block, and the action sequences are so unbelievably wicked. It is the Perfect balance to the criticism of Kojima's "cinematic gaming" vision.

| Originally posted by Rodrico Yeah man, and its pretty fun, very graphically rich for an anime fighting game and lots of fast paced action. But I don't play much DBZ games so its hard for me to compare with the rest, but definitely worth the buy. Gonna wait on the surround and go MGO full time instead lol. |

Its damn hard to make sequels now adays.. this game wraps up the series perfectly.. I had expectations of what would be in this game and they exceeded it.. Ending was very powerful.. great conclusion MGS4 = 10/10 (MGS3 Ending hit me hardest though, not sure Hideo could have topped that ending emotionally anyway).
Does it matter if you haven't gone through the previous games?

No not really it makes a great point of wrapping up the whole series and there is this awesome thing during cut scenes youll see prompts for buttons when you press them they flashback to previous games to show the ties. God this game is so amazing everything the camo is so fucking badass hiding and sneaking for 25 mins a time ftw
the gun system is ridiculous. Every gun has an Id system with nanomachines that have to be injected for the gun to work properly. The whole idea of everything about a solidier being watched is so cool. This game is perfect.
Think i will be picking this up soon.
probably the best game i've ever played or seen. EVAR.
from what i've seen it's all* cinematics. you move 10 feet, then another one, etc for the whole game, then again i hate Japaneses games in the first place.
And I hate you. Go die,

I managed to get a good way into it last night. There are some minor camera control issues, just not as fluid as the rest of it. But it is very impressive thus far. And its pretty typical MGS fare, plenty of cutscenes.
Can u skip the cutscenes or do they make u sit through all that shit? There was a FF game that made u sit through them all...10-15 mins of movie u don't care to see just to start playing again = Fail.
