Do you guys ever feel like you're getting old?
Was just reading the George Carlin thread and the guy made it to 71. Thats pretty damn GOOD considering the life he led.
I'm also coming off a funeral weekend for my grandmother (no biggie really).
And also, a little hard partying in the city (SF) with some old friends. After all of that drinkin, the acid indigestion is KILLING me!
I feel old (but i'll do it all over again this weekend
)
just wondering if some of you guys feel a little old every now and then.
Yup! I feel old also at times. Other times not so much.
As long as your always young at heart, your good. When you feel old, you will act old.
hmmm, i'm older than most of you on the boards and most of the time i feel like i'm still super young, i mean mentally. my body reminds me that i'm heading at warp speed in that direction sometimes but for the most part, i'm stronger and in better shape than i was 10 years ago. yeah, a hard weekend of partying can sometimes take it out of me, but working out instantly gives me back my energy
Only when somebody has to change my diaper.
Sometimes. And I'm gettine even older this Friday
I feel old when I go to places like EDC where it is all ages. Other than that, I don't feel too old. I can't say that I am much for all nighters anymore though.
Nope!
I dont feel old yet. Although I do think Im getting old REAL fast.
But I wont worry about it until my hip starts to ache in the cold

I don't feel old, but I just don't have the energy I used to have... to stay up all night/morning and party every weekend. I used to work all day, go home, change & get ready really fast, go party all night, come home, sleep for like one hour, then go straight to work all day again. I have no idea how I used to do that.
Nope.
Eat right + exercise = outlive everyone. Suck it.
i do feel old once a while and always jokingly say i'm getting old.
but on a serious note by the time we grow old the national average age for death will be as high as 70 if not higher thanks to advanced medicine and organ reconstruction. truth is what you saw in science fiction movies and books is now reality. some of the examples are cloning body parts from scratch and cryogenic freezing like austin powers.
I feel old only when i think about it.
I mean shit, my 10 year high school reunion is right around the corner, thats one of the main things that opened my eyes on how old I am and how fast time has gone by.
Obviously i am not the oldest on here, but i am sure not the youngest.
the title should be "you're" not "your"
1. "your" - no i don't feel like my getting old
2. "you're" - no i don't feel like i am getting old

And this is the second time I've heard someone in their 20s ask this question in a week.
