TIËSTO & FERRY CORSTEN SCHRIJVEN SAMEN DANCE GESCHIEDENIS OP DANCE VALLEY FESTIVAL!
Purmerend, 25 juni 2008 - Ferry Corsten zal op Dance Valley zijn eigen Flashover Recordings Stage afsluiten met niemand minder dan Tiësto. Deze historische gebeurtenis zal in de tweede Valley van Dance Valley plaatsvinden.
San Francisco, 24 mei 2008. Door een fikse stroomuitval verandert het ETD POP Festival in één grote, dooie boel – net op het moment dat het publiek in extase is na een geweldige set van Ferry Corsten en de eerste platen van Tiësto’s afsluitende set door de zaal galmen.
Eén club die nog wel stroom heeft is de bomvolle Ruby Skye waar Ferry Corsten later die avond op de officiële ETD POP after party draait.Tiësto besluit een kijkje te nemen bij zijn goede vriend en collega Ferry, nog vol van energie door het niet afmaken van zijn set eerder die avond. Hij wordt dan ook direct door Ferry de DJ booth ingetrokken om samen back-to-back verder te draaien.
Het publiek in de Ruby Skye beseft direct dat hier dance historie word geschreven. Jaren nadat Ferry en Tiësto samen als o.a. Gouryella geschiedenis schreven met tracks als Gouryella en Walhalla, staan ze nu voor de allereerste keer samen te draaien voor een publiek dat volledig uit haar dak gaat.

Niet alleen genoot het publiek met volle teugen, ook Tiësto en Ferry hadden een geweldige tijd. Die avond werd dan ook direct besloten dat ze dit snel nog een keer zouden doen.
De perfecte plek? Dance Valley Festival! Hier heeft Ferry immers met zijn Flashover Recordings een grote, open-air stage in de legendarische tweede Valley die sinds 2002 eindelijk weer terugkeert.
Hoewel dit betekent dat Tiësto zijn plek op de Dance Valley Mainstage opgeeft, kon UDC zo’n unieke kans niet laten liggen.Na de spontane sessie in San Francisco zal het publiek in Spaarnwoude getrakteerd worden op een volledige back-to-back set van Ferry Corsten en Tiësto.
Twee mannen die niet alleen behoren tot de beste DJ’s die Nederland ooit heeft voortgebracht maar ook twee oude makkers die niets liever doen dan hun muziek met het publiek te delen.Organisator UDC is bijzonder trots om deze unieke gebeurtenis toe te voegen aan het nu al uitpuilende programma voor Dance Valley. Dance Valley Festival 2008 vindt dit jaar plaats op zaterdag 12 juli.

Had Tiësto anders geskipped, maar dit is de 100% zekerheid op Dance Valley

So heres my understanding..
Tiesto was originally supossed to play MAINSTAGE alongside Carl Cox,Sander Van Doorn etc.. but now he's giving that up to do a B2B with Ferry Corsten in another tent? Is Ferry still having his set in the Flashover tent, or is that cancelled as well? So does this mean Tiestos gonna be playing a shorter set?
Im coming all the way from Canada and am not aware of this specific situation, its a dream come true to see the return of Gouryella and I want to make sure I catch the whole set on time!

Carl Cox hebben we nu ook wel weer eens gezien als closing act. Er wordt altijd zo uitermate melancholisch en euforisch gedaan voor cocks en afsluiten van DV. Het is voor mij meer de show erom heen etc (lasers) die het em doet. De muziek val ik na 30 min meestal na in slaap.

Wordt een gezellige boel bij de Flashover denk ik zo
Heb ook zo het vermoeden dat we daar wel zullen blijven hangen gedurende de dag,ben niet zo'n lopert.
Wel ga ik daardoor weer wat dj's missen maargoed,je kan niet alles hebben.
Wordt die bende nog uitgezondent ergens? Geschiedenis moet ook op mp3 vlak geschreven worden natuurlijk!
