Exclamation x_x K so my kitty gave birth and she's annoying me... something is wrong

she gave birth yesterday to 4 cats

2 came out dead and 2 came out alive.

after she gave birth she's like i dunno... been trying to tell me something o.o

she won't sleep wont eat won't do anything, she just keeps meowing all day long and chasing me and my mom, we thought she was hungry but its not that.. last thing she did was to grab a kitty and bring it next to my room.

i thought she wanted a cozier place for her kitties to be in, so i made her a home with carboard.. didnt work, she keeps whining.

i thought she just wanted to place her kitties in my closet, but i opened the door and she didnt do anything.

my mom thinks shes trying to find her 2 dead babies.. which we burried... so yeah those cant come back.

o_O she won't even titty feed her cats!!! and just like right now shes next to me whining and once i get up she kinda lures me to her kitties, i stay there and she lays next to them.

WHAT IN THE WORLD DO I DOOOOOOO X_X IM DESPERATE SHE WONT LET US SLEEEEEP!!!11

why didnt you have her de-sexed?

its a lot of responsibility taking care of a pet, im not sure youre up to it. take it to the vet rather than posting on an EDM website.

I think it could be one of two things.

1. She still has a stillbirth kitten left inside of her and is trying to tell you.

2. She wants to know where her dead babies are.

As gross as it might be, you might went to dig up the dead ones and bring them to her.

Mazel Tov.

It's technically impossible that a "kitty" has kittens, however.

Common mistake. Understandable.

Cats usually get depression after giving birth. Specially if they lose one of their kittens. Best thing to do is kill the rest.

Posted by Amduscias on Jun-27-2008 03:32:

c'mon guys u know what i mean x_x

right now shes laying down with them, but she just licks them , however she doesn't even feed them.

as soon as i go away she starts crying.

as i just told pierre

i tried grabbing the babies and sticking them to one of her titties but they wont open their mouths either.. they are just laying there... barely making any noise, and shes just there, looking at them.

i think she knows they are gonna die.

sometimes mothers reject their litters. it happens with mice and gerbils usually with their first litter. after this experience i hope you have enough common sense to take kitty in and get her fixed so this doesn't happen again.

this is what happened... she went out every night somewhere without us noticing, at one point we had to close the windows at 5pm or else we would forget and she would get out again x_X

well, she had a boyfriend and we didn't know, when we noticed it was too late :K

Also, you can tell she doesn't reject them... i think she just doesn't know what to do... after all she is laying with them and licking them and stuff, but i think she's just clueless X_x
