Predictable only because you know I'm right.

Just because you don't play and/or make the music you think is hip doesn't mean the rest of us enjoy it just to keep up appearances.

No one's slating you for pop-bootlegs.

I really don't understand this vendetta you seem to have against the so-called "chin-stroking hipsters." You certainly seem to be beating that drum more and more often as of late.

Also, for a great night of acid house in Chicago, go see Justin Long on one of his many weekly bookings. His set was the first we saw at DEMF this year and I was absolutely fucking floored.

justin plays weekly in chicago? could have fooled me.

Might not necessarily be weekly - but it's at least twice a month, and the bookings are usually only one to two week notice. I get bombed with e-friend invites like two days in advance and find myself pissed because I've already made plans.

Next week Saturday he is at Smartbar, but I think we'll be in town for Lee/Leger the night before, so probably no go then.

Don't be lame like Lauer, make a weekend out of it.

I really do need to meet and/or wax philosophic with Jeff some time, so you may have just sold me.

I'm just not quite sure there's a room in Chicago big enough to hold the level of bullshit that would come along with having the three of us in such close proximity, and I say that knowing full well that all I know about Jeff is that he was a philosophy major and managed to turn out a decent remix of "I don't wanna be an Astronaut."

Fucking astronauts... that's another thing that pisses me off. That's for another day though.

So this thread hijack, was it part of your greater plan to ensure James' insatiable lust for drama was fulfilled?

Clever fucking bastard.
