Bas - Pause // Rewind [House, Deep House]

So yeah, this is my first demo with Traktor. Just picked it up a few weeks ago, started playing out with it. Lots of fun, there's some slight errors in a mix or two due to the pitch control on my turntables being absolute pants. I don't know how/where to get that fixed, if anyone has any ideas let me know

Basel, this mix is fun stuff, top notch musics, the mixing is a bit sketchy in the beginnings but it's silkysmooth for the rest. and 'the way' is still fucking awesome

pitch control on old decks are more like loose boxers than pants.

Gotta echo Tony on this, Bas. Just finished finally giving this a sound listen while writing a final, and the only thing I really didn't like about it were the first two mixes - they weren't awful, just loose, and for some reason I thought the first two tunes just kind of had some different vibes going on. The mix into the first Mole tune also just sounded like it took a bit of work, but I've always said the sign of a good DJ is one who sticks with the mix rather than giving up.

The end of the set, however, might be the best thing I've heard you do. That Stimming track really sets up the last four that come after it, and I don't know how I've missed that Lars B tune at this point, but man-oh-man, what a choice closer!

Will definitely be keeping this one around for a while - wish you put up more sets, and still love seeing how much overlap in style you and I have. Gotta play together again sometime soon.

Yeah I had this idea in my head as to what I wanted the overall set to sound like, and I'm pretty sure I missed it. It made sense in my head then the more I listened to it the more it didn't translate well

Next one should be much better. Also getting my decks taken care of hopefully next week
