How many tunes do you buy per month?
I know we've had this before, but I can't find the thread, so I thought I'd ask again...
On average, how many tunes do you buy per month?
Or, if it's more appropriate, how many tunes do you add to your CD wallet per month (taking into account tracks you've been given by artists/labels, but not including tracks you were sent but thought were crap so left out of the wallet)?
I'm strange I guess. Sometimes I go off and get hundreds of tracks raiding various back catalogues in the process, but sometimes I go a few without finding much of anything I want.
i usually buy between 5 and 15 worth a month. all of them are downloads these days like. so manage to get quite a few for my money.
On average I probably get 20-40 tracks per month off of Beatport, Trackitdown, etc. Not all of the tracks are new, as I tend to buy a lot of stuff that came out a few years ago that I have just now heard.
I do know people who buy that quantity of tracks per week. So I guess I'm on the lower end of the spectrum.
usually spend 30 quid or so per month(beatport mainly), tho it depends on whats released - i've spent that much in a week before
25 bucks the most.
it varies i must say i check beatport daily for all the releases of tech house, electro house, house, prog house and techno and then if i like i buy right away so i can burn and spin lol
but htat depends on how many tunes i really like which i might add am really picky
I buy roughly 20 or so tracks a month (Give or take a couple). Mostly back catalogue stuff lately, as stuff that has come out in the last month or two hasn't caught my interest really (except for a select few).
I also deliberate on a track for a day or two before purchasing anymore. As I would make snap decisions in the past and end up regretting the purchase I made. So I'll listen to a track, write down the name & title. Come back to it and listen again about a day later. If I still like it, than I'll buy it.
i buy between 150-200 usd worth of music a month, combination of vinyl, cd, and mp3
maybe about 100 tracks a month?
jesus christ man, you go to school, live alone in nyc, spin on a 2k$ dj setup and you still find 200 a month for tracks???
sell drugs?
i work(ed) two jobs, and i'm on scholarship. my freelance work and dj gigs pay for all of my music/equipment expenses. also i don't eat much
anyone need a website, logo, stationary, etc?
I spend about $60 USD per month on vinyl (all ordered from overseas), which gives me about 3-4 records. Wish I could find a record store around here that I like, so I could stop paying the ridiculous shipping from the UK.
I'll probably pick up about 10-15 records a month, and maybe 8 digital downloads or so. Not a lot, but it keeps me busy enough.
