getting off the horse & going back to school
Sucks
Im just taking one class for web design. I guess with my limited experiance, after this class i will be able to control my website without paying the tool $65 an hour now who does a dipshit job. But being surrounded by clueless hippies wearing sandles really sucks.
Honestly, you can learn that shit without taking a class. HTML is so fucking easy to pick up.

you can pay me $50 and hour and i'll do a better job
then you don't have to worry about classes
Ugh tell me about it. I have to go to court and petition to get back into the University. I followed their academic probation rules, and they said they weren't going to let me back in! It's the only state school within 2 hrs of where I live, every other school near me is over fifteen grand a year. And the class times there suck ass. You can't even work your senior year cause they pull the "that class is ONLY available in the fall on Tuesdays at 1030".
It took me 4 years to get my AA (working full time etc), it's been a yr since I've been out of school... so by the time I finally graduate it'll probably be 8 years of school for a BA. RETARDED.
agree with Ben, most of my work is based on database, PHP and dreamweaver.
dreamweaver = easy to learn ( no classes necessary IMO )
I was going to quote a movie as it seemed appropiate,
"R U Ridin' the white pony, son?!" lulz

Maybe you should be more specific on what you want to learn and what you are trying to do with the website. HTML/Frontpage/dreamweaver are beginners tools and easy to work with. If you want to design a nice site, I would look into adobe photoshop(the best way to make templet design). Than there's advance scripting and data base(php, cgi, css, pearl, sql).

The funniest thing is that this college is the same community college i went to when i was 18/19 then dropped out to work full time in advertising. When i dropped out i didnt withdraw, i just stopped going which gave me bad grades in the classes i was enrolled in. I figured fuck it, im never going back here again.
Now i go to enroll in a class & there is a hold on my account & i cant take a class until i go to this dumb ass counselor meeting with a number of other people. During the group meeting, the councelor is going over each student 1 by 1 discussing why we had poor grades the last semester. Finally she gets to me & i show her my transcript & my last class i took was 1997. She then was like oh shit you dont even look 25. That got me outta there fast with the counselor approval slip. I guess its a good thing i dont look my age.
Im going back to school aug 25, for certification classes(a+,n+,cisco, server+). Im 24 how sad......
well, if you think about. if you grew up in our computer generation, you're probably ending up hooked on technology from the get-go.
i mean, what i'm trying to say is that most of the software out there has, man, just a bunch of manuals scattered over the web. no need to pay for a class (except for php, sql and c++) imo.
