Mr. Joel Zimmerman, Torontonian better known as Deadmau5, has his first full-length coming out at long last.

The album, which is due to include all of the Deadmau5 dancefloor monsters that made him famous, also delves into the more chilled out side of the infamous artist.

In fact, in a recent Beatportal interview he went so far as to say that he was interested in producing a kind of �half and half� album, with one disc as an electronic, danceable mix, and the other his own musical preferences which are not necessarily �danceable�, pulling influences from Squarepusher, Boards of Canada, Radiohead and the like.

So, what�s up with that?

The real question is: What do his fans want? A hard-hitting compilation of the electro destroyers that made him a superhero, or a journey into the reaches of his diverse scope as an artist?

Aptly named, �Random Album Title� is due out digitally on September 2nd and will be in stores a couple of months later on November 4th, on Ultra Records in the States and Ministry of Sound in the UK.

Additionally and fittingly so, as a part of his Beatport-sponsored tour, the Mau5 will make a Halloween L.A. appearance at the HARD Haunted Mansion with the likes of Soulwax, Boys Noize, Simian Mobile Disco, the Crookers and others in what is shaping up to be a massive soiree.

i wonder what kind of mouse Joel uses? I have teh Logitech MX518

it lets you increase and decrease the sensitivity on the fly right by the wheel .. this is good for sniping in first person shooter games. While dj'ing I think this mouse would be handy.

Rich is a term that's totally perspective based. I would consider the benchmark as $1,000,000/yr with no debt load to pay down as "rich". Certainly someone who makes $500k/yr and drives a M5 is wealthy, but in my opinion not rich. I can't fathom the checks from beatport and gigs totaling over $1,000,000 a year.

you might want to reverse your definition of the terms wealthy and rich.

Wealthy is usually used to define people with a solid income for more than just a couple of years.
