CAN we STOP the AMERICAN BASHING !!!!!!!!!!

Recentley i have been seeing more and more people and even mods bashing or trying to bash Americans (including are culture, government, music, and even if we are lazy)....

We are ALL here for are LOVE of trance...so why must some of you feel obligated to make it clear on how much you dislike Americans or are country in general??

We (Americans) are not perfect...but neither are you or your country....

I have seen people mock the September 11th attacks on are country with COMPLETE disregard to how American TAs would feel or respond...some Americans TAs where affected by those attacks personally and happened to lose love ones that day...so that is a very emotional subject for us...yet i have seen many times where people make light of the situation or even say we deserved it....

i feel that out of RESPECT for your fellow TAs that you should try and refrain from INTENTIANLEY abusing or flaming Americans...its very rude and disrespectful....

I am sorry that i have to even post this but i have seen it getting worse and worse...so do you think we can all be a community of tranceaddicts as oppose to Europeans and Americans....

well right now there is a thread posted by a MOD that asks the question "Are Americans Lazy"..and there is even a poll posted...this thread goes on toimply that Americans are lazy because we use cars to go places and the such...go read it..

Then last week there was a threas about tracks that are about September 11th...like tracks that make u think about the attacks in an emotional way...well in that thread Dumonde Trancer made a very insulting and offense remark by saying Flight 643..

Then there is the on going abuse of are president George Bush...like he is the devil or soemthing...

Then all the attacks on are laws and the such..

there are many many little comments thrown hear and there about Americans...purely to flame us....if u havent seen them , well then u dont look or u just dont care...

i often find myself defending USA, American people and Pres. Bush many times on this forum. And, I'm not even American.....

But I am grateful to live in the BEST and MOST PROSPEROUS country in the WORLD where I have more OPPORTUNITY to succeed and be free from persecution, and other bullshit that goes on in other countries. Yeah, it's not perfect, but probably as good as it gets.

Trancex02, please don't lie as i feel you are a respected member of the TA community... and as for examples, check ESSO thread you participated in a week ago LINK TO US/BUSH BASHING THREAD . me too i find my self in the same situations..i am also not american..me and some idiots went at it for a while in one thread until they felt like shit and stopped posting..whats the point of flaming beats me..but ill be damned if i dont reply back to the utter bullshit that gets posted.

Tiesto I totally agree. The only thing this can do is make Americans angry. TA is cool because we have so many people and so many opinions that it gets really interesting when people come together. Ive gotten pretty sick of the crap too. It needs to stop.

#1 Americans work longer than anyone else in the world and have less vacation time. Im not talking about 5th world non existant countries with 15 hour a day child labor. im talking civilization.

#2 We have no public transportation becaue GM, Firestone, Chrysler, and some petroleum companies used front companies to buy up all the rails and busses in america. They then dismantled them. They had entire cities public transportation gone in sometimes ONE NIGHT. They did this so Americans HAD to rely on personal transport so the car, tire, and gas companies could reap the benefits.

From what I've seen on TV, in movies, on these boards and stories I've heard I got the feeling I didn't like US citizens much, mainly because of the superiority complex many of them seem to have......thenagain....how could I judge a country with over 250 billion ppl to be all the same? It's not like all Dutch smoke weed or refuse to treat other ppl every now and then
And some US TAs are very cool ppl with whom you can have an intelligent convo without the "I am PROUD of the US" feeling bumping up all the time

Tiesto, I can see how this might hurt you, but I don't think starting a defensive thread about it helps! You could have just asked ppl what they thought of the US and WHY they feel that way!! In that case there's something you could do about it, and it would've been so much easier for "us" to adjust our point of view wouldn't it?

Europeans should have a better communications system, a less corrupt populace, a less corrupt police force, a less corrupt government. Europeans should quit sitting on the fence until its clear who will win and then bash the losers. Europeans need to get out of Americas '80s. Europeans need to quit trying to make themselves look better bashing America. Europeans think they are so frigging "with it" that they can sit back and bash America like the rest of the fucking world. ENOUGH. Every country has problems. You guys look to US every time. Thats EXACTLY why we feel superior. No one bitches about Englands loss of economic motivation. No one bitches about the availability of cars in spain. No one bitches about anything other than the US because all eyes are drawn to it for some reason. Take an introspective look like we have to every day because we are under constant barrage and see how great your country is in all of the things you talk about America. Our transportation sucks? My family has 13 cars. Id say we are doing well in that department. Our pollution and filth? London and Rome! If people are going to be addressing such global issues as transportatin, pollution, diet, and other things, look at the WHOLE WORLD, instead of pickin the big dog and going after it like a bunch of jackals.

well when its an on going thing...and as u can see you i am not alone in this...i feel that SOMEONE had to say something....

THERE IS NEVER...and i mean NEVER any threads on putting down or disrespecting Holland or Germany or England or any other country for that matter...its ALWAYS America that is put down here....so one looking in on this would ASSUME that Europeans TAs are rude arrogant pompous people who have ZERO respect for their fellow American TAs....

if Americans are so rude and whatever else u may think...why is that there is never an American TA attacking any European country,,,,maybe because we have respect for you guys...

In response to your post: I think it's easier for us to find defectives in the American System (way of life) because we see American things around us EVERYWHERE....however...how can you say such ignorant things about Europe if you don't even know what Europe is...where it is....what it is about..etc.....ask US citizen where Holland is....and 9 out 0f 10 think it's a city in Massachusets ight?
