HardCore Trance?

I'm new to the whole Trance style of music, but Ive been hooked onto some of it labeled Hard-core Trance.

I don't know where to post it, but if anyone could name off some good songs/artists who do really heavy Trance that would be awesome. Ive been looking everywhere and cant find any.
Im not sure if its called Hardcore Trance..

What is hardcore trance? Sounds like another name for hard house, hard nrg, or some other 'death metal' subgenre of trance. If you post an example link to an artist or a soundclip, I may be able to find some.

but Hard Trance is a genre that has died out from its mega popularity as of the last 3-4 years.

I'd say, look into Scot Project, Yoji B. old records. Anything on Druck records really...

old Cosmic Gate...

find the sets lists of these guys from 2003 and before, and you'll find other hard trance artists.

I'd call the first borderline hard trance (which is different from hardcore) and the second tech-trance.

Have a look at Sander van Doorn, Alphazone, Max Savietto, John Askew, Marco V and Nu-NRG.

it was taged as hardcore trance in the early 90s would you belive . it's a cross over from hardcore of corse and was a replacement for rave and happey hardcore.and in answer to your question my friend is hard dance is the shit you seek try banging tunes.com and all wil be reviled.also log on to track it down records and look for there hard dance and nrg secthion nicksentince,gyver,are just a few big guns so go and seek and injoy the hard shit fellow hardcore fan.

Closest thing you'll get is tech trance but it just isn't the same.

Hard trance these days is just silly, too hard and cheesy for me. Wasn't Cor Fijneman originally considered hard trance?
I always thought of hard trance as just trance, but not fluffy and a tad faster, with darker more disturbing melodies. These days its really similar to hardstyle...

I'm really interested in this crossover! kamui is great, definitely an artist for people who are sick of all the cheesy hard" anthems that are produced/played out all the time
