Canada Election 2008 - Who are you Voting for???

I'll include the 4 main parties. If you're not planning on voting or don't know the issues, just come back to it later. (like in real life, nothing worse then people ticking off a box just for the sake of it).

well to make them feel better, they can create the same poll in the montreal section and include the bloc. Since Ontario residents can't vote for them, I decided not to add them.

haha...I love the Dave Chappelle bit on how White people are so uptight about letting other know who they vote for...

but its true! lol

I wish we actually had a right-wing conservative party...by default i'm stuck with PC lol.

Oh well. It could be worse then Harps!

PS. I wouldn't consider the Green Party a 'main' party.

Especially now that the focus has shifted away from the environment and that 'Green' crap to the Economy.

my only criteria for naming them a main party is the fact they have a candidate in every riding, and they are slowly gaining more credibility by being part of the debate etc.

Liberals.

And I encourage everybody to do the same.

Hahaha it totally is. Never really understood why the secrecy is so important.

That's your biggest priority?

Yay democracy!!

Posted by Dr. DAS on Oct-01-2008 17:51:

Green.

A lot of that has to do with who's in my riding.

And as for the Greens not being a major party, they're slowly creeping up to overtake the NDP.

voting intentions are not the same as actual votes

Someone needs to bring back the Canadian Union of Fascists! That's a party I could get behind.

Posted by MarkT on Oct-01-2008 18:28:

Liberal.

and for the first time in my life, I made a contribution to further support my vote.

Dion is not the ideal leader, IMHO, but Harper is a complete douchebag.

I much prefer the Liberal platform too (which can be downloaded as a pdf from this page: http://www.liberal.ca/platform_e.aspx )

This would seem to be the more important criteria on which to base a vote (IMO) rather then the relative douchebaggery of one leader to another.

il be mainly watching the palin/biden debate. switching to ours during commercials.

i know that seems dumb since i live in canada and should be paying more attention to our debate than the u.s vp debate but to be perfectly honest. canada has the most boring & predictable politics in this part of the world.

we all know whats gonna happen

even tho im voting liberal, harper will win another minority, liberals will be the offical opposition, ndp will prob make up some ground on the liberals, and the greens may win an additional set.

yawn*
