I have no Idea but I hope either a respect Trance artist who hasn't won it before wins it this year (which probably won't happen) or that somehow like carl cox or somebody other than trance DJ claims the top spot

It seems that despite anything that goes on during the year, there never ceases to be an abundance of people who ensure that the top ten more or less remain the same.

I have heard that Dan and Christopher will not be in this years Top 100 as the owner of the mag has a grudge against them after last year. They had the votes, but they still weren't included. And they are not the only ones. The mag has a history of meddling with the results and apparently this is the worst year ever as they were sick of the same old names in the top spots.

I bet tiesto won last year, because no way armin is even as big as he is and they just screwed him over because of what happenend when he won the 3rd time around and shunned DJ MAG!

I know that Tiesto won the year that they gave it to Paul. I am not sure about last year with Armin, but it wouldn't surprise me. Nobody is more popular than Tiesto. It's a joke that anyone other than him would be #1.

You are right about DJ Mag shunning Tiesto. When he didn't show up a few years back for the official Top 100 party, the editor Lesley screamed in front of a bunch of people "He will NEVER be #1 again in my poll".

And he wasn't.

Let's see if they are still holding the grudge against Tiesto this year.

Heh. Even if this is true, it's far too late for DJMag to try to regain some scene credibility. But that's they price they paid for only pandering to the trance fanbase for so many years.
