Shiloh ....(oh well)

IMO, late 2005 was the tipping point. boy, did they really go down the toilet?

It happens when you abandon your fanbase and go extremely electro.

RIP SHILOH.....

(when the title was RIP shiloh)

Posted by benni on Nov-28-2008 01:29:

they are weak because they fall for the electro sound so easily

That shouldn't mean following the trends blindly.

Love is in the air

Well I don't know of the new and "bad" shiloh, and I guess that is because... well they aren't good anymore. But i do remember loving a lot of their productions a few years ago.

In university a couple years ago, I was working on a gorup project, and I got talking to this older guy, and it eventually came about that Shiloh was two of his brothers-in-law. I thought that was pretty cool.

Oh yea... Shiloh - Vista Cruz

Fair play for trying new things, but I preferred his old progressive ways. Maybe he just needs a good bump on the head..

Posted by trancedanne on Nov-28-2008 13:04:

didnt all trance go nintendo style after 2005? Shiloh were amazing but now...

Posted by benni on Nov-28-2008 15:18:

Luke Chable?

as mentioned before, those who rode the electro bandwagon back in late 05, crashed into a brick wall at 100 mph and were never heard from again.

yes

Posted by Slylee on Nov-30-2008 03:28:

lol i checked it out on beatport and it wasn't really doing it for me now.

Posted by SYSTEM-J on Nov-30-2008 03:33:

I used Mana in my Spaced mix. I also used Shiloh's collab with Marc Mitchell, Run To The Light. Both are from 2004. It's a shame that Shiloh went down the pan in an attempt to stay trendy.

The Bleed double album marked the end of their good days, their latest three track ep has a breaks track which is quite good but the other two tracks are crap electro nonesense, I bought all of their Electrofly output on vinyl, superb stuff.
