Dick...On Torture.
today the outgoing VP talked candidly.
needless to say i agree.
You try to hide your immense weakness in both mental and physical faculty by pandering to the skirt-tails of those whom you see as agents of strength and of brutal force masquerading as civilized man. You're sort of a joke, to be honest.
thats understandable
Cheney's name is so fucking fitting...
What a cocksucker.
It's just absolutely amazing to see him not even flinch while saying it.
Also, the results do speak for themselves, the majority of KSM's testimony during that time was shit. He claimed responsibility for almost everything he could think of, including stuff that we knew there was no way he could have been involved in. He didn't give a fuck.

On a fucking basic level it just shows how absolutely devoid of principle he is.

Can't help it, but everytime I hear this guy's name mentioned, I remember this song I used to listen when was a child.

Re: Dick...On Torture.
torture merely begets torture. good luck to american soldiers that are captured in the foreseeable future. half the shit that the VP got up to during his terms undermined everything that the US supposedly stands for.

It's simply not a reliable method of attaining information. It isn't. How can we justify compromising our values (that we're fighting to protect) when the compromise doesn't even yield valuable information? |

lol... Jack Bauer and henchmen. I think there is actually some overlap in our stance on the matter, even though it sounds like we are making opposite arguments.... because I don't care for the what-ifs either, and would only be for torture if there was a seriously high degree of certainty that the detainee was in fact holding needed information. I need to brush up on some studies, and not ones funded by fringe Left and Right wing groups.

I guess you haven't known about the hundreds of innocent people we have detained and used "enhanced interrogation techniques" on. Only to be released without charge after years of detention. |

| Originally posted by The17sss No, I'm just saying that whether we torture or not, regardless of the circumstance, American's captured over there (middle east) will most likely get abused. I think if you look at the big picture, America is not at the top of the list for inhumanity. |
