Backyard Shenanigans feat....

whats up guys,

its been a while since we last made the pilgramage to gather and share our taste in humour and music. im trying to muster a little something up to make this a memorable party. i wanted to invite ALL of you guys out here to my house to get drunk dj and all that. i have confiremed bookings from some of texas finest underground jocks.

hours : from 6pm till ?

when : saturday jan. 3rd 2009!

Benjamin Dubose : This guy needs no introduction to most clubs in the houston scene. You may have seen him open up for a spectrum of djs such as cosmic gate, markus schulz blank and jones, rank1, christopher lawrence and the always memorable, armin van buuren. he is the best progressive trance dj/producer that 77002.com has to offer!

Carlos Perreira : A true underground gem, has yet to open for big acts but with his array of mix cds (prognosis series and other single titled albums) and with a current unsigned release of his 'sunrise' single, this underground connossieur is headed towards a bright future in the texas edm scene. always a hit in his sets and is not one to miss or dissappoint!

Matthias : i have shared the stage with this guy opening for paul van dyk in 2005 and what was to come after i had the opening slot was absolutely unexpected. i remember the promoters all commenting about how matthias was having his 'moments' with the crowd. from the bouncers to the club owner , the dominant populas agreed, matthias was remarkably extraordinary.

Peter Sajche & Davey Diamonds AKA The Night Architekts : the finest in proggressive house music. Both Highly Influnced and mentored by great djs such as sean carnahan and randall jones from the tigerhook corp, they have a taste all their own. They have tracks released under Mynt records, world wide exclusive records, giant squid recordings, open bar music and more! these guys have opened for acts such as John Digweed, Max graham, sasha, junkie xl, dave seamen, John graham and many more! Bringing you a epic set of progressive house this is definately something you do not want to miss!

Bloody heck! Campos and Night Architekts in one place and i'm not gonna be able to make it. Man last time all three of ya'll played in one place was prob the best show i've ever been to. Up there with that epic Cattaneo show i'm always talkin about. Darn it!

I wish I still had my CDJ-1000s. I had a good time hanging out, the dinner was great! Look forward to the next house party.

All I know is that Lizandro HAS to be the best navy man evAr, especially when he has the ability to teach us how to cross mud puddles with our bare feet at 8am to get to a secluded lake, drunk, crunk, and wired.



Had a blast from the past this weekend. Thanks to Tim, I didnt have to destroy my memory-lagging laptop when running Serato. It uined much of my music, but who really cares after a bottle of vodka and 17 beers.

A big 'ole thanks to Ryan and Matthias for driving me around, and the fckn EPIC choonage that went on in Matthias SUV. Thanks to Lizandro for me and everyone else over, and ESPECIALLY....the females.

i had an absolute blast. im so glad you guys came over. like i said that night, i focused more on getting the house ready and looking good rather than to worry about the technical problems that went on that night. some of us didnt get to spin and so we let carlos & alok wreck on the tables pretty much all night. i cant beleive tim was dancing from the start of the party til the end !!!! that guy is my absolute fave ! the women were absolutely haawt! the food was the bombeezy as ive known for years my tio efrain can cook up some meen fajitas, salvadorian style bishes! after wards we headed to some clubs in montrose (say what you want but that shit was dope!!) i saw more girls n some other boys of mine from back in the day. then some of us who have stamina to party hard headed to south beach (music was pretty fkn good) *i can feel a million jokes coming my way* o well. after that! me and carlos get back from the club and we get some 'powerthirst' in us and we called up some peeps and we chilled drank some more got out to some secluded lake and i watched the sunrise with my peeps. i know carlos was ready to pass out but i guess i wasnt. yeh i definately had the time of my life. i hope those who attended felt the same. i will definately have another party next time im in town and i WILL focus on the sound/recording/lighting set up. this time ill have the party light years in advance.

Bollocks! I get busy at work for one week and miss way too much apparently, sounds like bombs were dropped, glad you all had fun!
