Tiesto vs Armin the copcat

i can understand everything but closing out your set with the same song as tiesto does? camonnnnnn and what about how he switches the headphones? his face is priceless when he sees the cameraman

Re: Tiesto vs Armin the copcat

TIESTO is GOD , that's it ( fuck Armin fuck everyone else...(DJ) )

Posted by Excess on Feb-05-2009 23:08:

he didnt close armin only with it, he only played it towards the end. he closed out with urban train vs. yet another day lol, and as far as the headphones are concerned; they aren't cheap. i wouldnt go around throwing out 150-200 dollar headphones if i were him either.

however, all in all it's definitely questionable material but meh they both make great music and pioneer trance - i can't complain

Both gay, Armin a bit more so.

can i have 5:07 of my life back?

Posted by BiG MiKE on Feb-06-2009 02:30:

I saw this this in the trance.nu thread. Pretty crazy

Posted by Steve-Neil on Feb-06-2009 02:41:

Lube and dildos aren't even as gay as Armin and Tiesto.

Dumbest video I have ever seen. Only thing more worthless are the Tiesto and Armin haters.

As if no one's ever used the Jesus pose before...

Uh oh!!! Lebron James is copying Tiesto!!!

Whoever made this video is stupid !!!
They are both talented in their own way.

I got a chuckle out of the headphone switch, I gotta say.
With the money Armin makes...off that gig alone...you'd think he could throw out the actual headphones he wore that night.

ehhh i dunno regardless of how much money i'd ever make, i'm not big into ever giving stuff i use away. maybe their his favorite pair? :P i hate rotating headphones or buying new ones. older ones are always more comfortable ^.^

watching this video honestly just reminded me of those countless videos of the JFK conspiracy .. magic bullet.. second gunman.. ridiculous.

This is painfully obvious yet most people are too dumb to realize this. He throws out the same type of phones, just not the ones he probably uses every night.

Posted by ZeeRobot1 on Feb-06-2009 14:27:

This is retarded. Its like some lame DJ propaganda video like the 911 ones but this time proving nothing that you wasted your time watching it.

Your making comparisons from a industry that is built on using other people tracks to entertain. So should a DJ find a track he really likes yeah he might close with it.

1: Hes a DJ what else is he supposed to throw out his MK3 ?
2: How many other DJ's and other people have adopted this jesus pose ? [keyword: Jesus meaning tiesto wasnt the first]
3: A billion other artists not just DJ's out there make songs referencing to flight and travel its a common.

any who they are both way out of their prime and play gay vocal cheese trance.

Who gives a shit?

Posted by eyebegod on Feb-08-2009 03:06:

kinda unrelated...my friend got tiesto's headphones the last time he played at webster, about a year ago. he just handed it to her...no toss. i think tiesto might have ripped off the "handing", he is a biter too

To all the DJs, here is something you all can try out

If you have Delierium Feat Sarah M - Silence (DJ Tiesto ISOS Remix) and Armin van Buuren Feat Justina Susanna - Burned with Desire (Rising Star Remix)

Play both tracks at the same bpm, you will find out something.

Posted by HALO555 on Feb-08-2009 19:32:

I'm not an Armin hater, but I had posted the link in another thread when I found it on youtube. What I get from the video is that Armin should try harder to be more original. He is always going to be compared to Tiesto and be seen as following in his footsteps. It's not a big deal and even expected for others to "copy" (for lack of better word) or borrow tricks/ideas, but considering the level that Armin's at it's a different story.

haha this is interesting...what happens? they're probably both in the same key and make a good mash-up?

also btw i think they're both unoriginal...they need to get over themselves and realize that trance DJs are not rockstars. this whole idea of having a 9-hour concert where you clap your hands and smile while 16 year old girls drool over you is kinda lame.

Yeah you're right. They should play 1 hour warehouse raves only for 50 people at a time.

Think before you speak.

Exactly they all need to stop trying to be so cool all the time and become strictly bedroom djs.

ummm no that's not what i meant...chill out on the sarcasm. now i think you're an asshole. and i haven't even met you. bad start dude.

there's a difference between leading a crowd and spending 9 hours clapping your hands and smiling sleazily into a camera. that you may not know the difference is a testament to your stupidity not mine.
