start to like seinfeld as you get older

is it me or is this true?

when i was younger i couldnt stand this show, and since i only had basic cable back then, it was on almost all the time. Nowadays i actually catch my self watching full episodes, and find the humour in it very funny .

also name some other stuff you hated as a kid, but now love as a adult.

It's always been funny.

I used to hate Seinfeld. Now I fucking love it.

I've actually learned a lot from the show. I used be terrible at making small talk - now I'm pretty damn good at it! I could talk about nothing for hours. It really has helped me communicate & connect with people on the small, everyday scale.

I fucking hate that curlyhaired creep, always have, always will.

And don't even get me started on his buddy, baldcreep.

I can't wait to never have a conversation with you

To me, it's always been funny, but I think you develop a greater appreciation for its comedic allusions to the nuances of life and interpersonal relationships as you further experience them with age; which is more or less the same case when it comes to Seinfeld's stand-up acts.

I learned the facts of life from watching The Facts of Life!

You were unable walk and talk when Seinfeld started; of course you couldn't appreciate it.

I hated seinfeld when i was younger... and then as time went by, it was amazing, it was like the hatred dissappeared & in its place were repulsed, sickened, revolted & fastidious... and then my hatred grew again.

seinfeld make men turn into whinging sissy fruitcakes that wish they were still suckling their mothers tit. They believe that putting their moms nipples in their mouths and giving it a good suck would give satisfaction to their pathetic existance as whinging sissy fruitcakes... but i can help you. It is easy to escape the grasp of fruitism & pull yourself away from the sissy land of seinfeld mommy titty sucking; but i will need you cooperation... your serious cooperation (not the sissy whinging seinfeld kind of cooperation).

You need to look at these pictures. look now, or forever be trapped in the body of a sissy fruit cake pining for mothers boob.

it is fucking conan!! fucking gonna sword a giant fucken snake!!

conan says "fuck seinfeld, the fuck, i chop his whinging head off"

conan gonna chop your head off while wearing a fucken goat hat bitch!

conan eats a fucken vulture... he CHOMPS ON ITS HEAD!! seinfeld does not eat vulture.

oh shit, surprise snake attack!!

just say "no" to seinfeld. just say no.

I'll be honest, unless it was about literature, quantum mechanics, philosophy, etc. I really couldn't think of anything else to say during high school. You could say it was the social anxieties of a teenager who smoked too much grass and dropped too much acid and read too many books. My mind would simply go blank while others gossiped about stupid shit. Now that I'm out of high school I know better, but goddammit man it was kind of important back then if you wanted to interact & get involved.

I watched a few episodes stoned out of my mind and began to realize just how fucking easy it was. I just had to dumb myself down like they had on the show (they're all fucking morons, really), which I would of fucking hated before.

P.S. how can anyone not laugh at this bullshit:

agreed

I've always loves the show too... it's sitcom humor is only surpassed by the other Larry David masterpiece Curb Your Enthusiasm (thank god for HBO allowing more artistic freedom than the networks) and possibly Arrested Development. You just have to be kinda smart to "get" that type of humor

With the unbelievably horrible contingent of sitcoms since Seinfeld left the air, it just makes me appreciate it that much more. We are now left with abortions like According to Jim and The Big Bang Theory.

Ive found this too. I never got into the show because I couldnt identify with it at the time. Now I can.

that only reinforces my point...lol. I'm actually happy for you that you haven't even been subjected to the commercials for such horrible excuses for tv shows. I wish I were in your situation.

I'll give you "According to Jim"...but "Big Bang Theory"? It's no Seinfeld or Arrested Development, but it's pretty good.
