Opinions about Matt Darey
I was wondering if anyone recently has heard Matt Darey live?
I know he used to be VERY trancey but his nocturnal radio shows have lots of variety of music in them.
Has he completely changed his style and strayed away from trance?
last i heard of him he was concentrating on a band 
I have never heard of him, not even in passing conversation.
do a search for some of his latest sets and see what he has consistently been playing. try the tracklisting section of this forum and google.
last i saw of him was an interview and he seemed quite ashamed of his trance past.
But the again if he is concentrating on a band , he will be mixing with the people who think EDM is made with a machine and a button and seem to have an inbuilt fear of EDM.
How can he be ashamed of his Trance past? he was amazing....what a douche lol
i can be bothered searching for it lol

Was a genius, now he is more intrested in his hair length than tunes by the looks of it.
He plays poppy electro last I heard.
My mate played before him and he rang him up and said dont play above 130 before I come on.
Everyone wanted his shitty trance pop but he gave them electro pop instead.

The last track I liked from him came out years ago now. It was an updated Deep mix and dub of Liberation.
I've always loved the Dubaholics mix of "Beautiful"
I think the last track I enjoyed from Matt Darey was "Moody" and that's years old. Top tune though 
Matt needs to hunt through his old hard drives and find One Little Arab for me.

Isn't he producing under/for Out Of Office these days?
It's a shame to lose sight of his achievements, but at the same time, he's been around the block and it must be painfully obvious to him what a crap state of affairs uplifting/progressive trance is in these days.

iam curious to hear what he will spin
iam goin in there knowing he is not full on trance like he used to be
but i saw in interviews he likes prog now and if hes feeling the crowd he will bring it up to some trance
