I'm the starcraft 2 news machine. If I don't know it, it hasn't been announced yet. Insert coin to begin.

Also, anything posted in previous threads is most likely very much outdated.

starcraft 2 will be released in november.

i heard starcraft was coming in june?

as for diablo, i dont have enough words to describe how much i dont give a shit. click-click-click-click is not my idea of fun gameplay.

You might've heard that the beta was coming in june, which would be possible, though it'll probably be earlier than that. It's almost certain to come out sometime in the fall.

Which means Summer 2011 is the likely target.

Must I have the latest quad core omg orgasm and quad SLI system running to play these? Or are these set to run with reasonable system specs?

It'll probably run on any dual core with a geforce 6 or better. Little more for diablo 3.

There's a rumor going around that the beta is going to be announced next week, seeing as it's starcraft's 11th anniversary, and correlates with pretty much every hint blizzard has let out about the beta since last fall.

In any case there's something coming march 31st.

Much as I am inclined to agree with you, Diablo has always been some sort of digital crack.

Hey, should I torrent SupCom?

When you buy the collector's edition, they send you a pack of needles.

I've started Playing and SC again and i still love it. I'm not sure if i'll be able to enjoy ( or run ) the graphically induced SC2. As for D3, Hoping it'll be good, so long as its not centered around thigns like Diablo and Baal runs...

^^^^

I just bought the Battlechest again (lost the original copy I had). Played Starcraft avidly as a kid, was the first game I really got in to. Still as good as I remember it, and can't wait for 2. Blizzard doesn't disappoint *knock on wood*

ARGHHHH I want Starcraft 2 yesterday!

Posted by DJ.Florian on Apr-16-2009 21:30:

I like the idea of Star craft 2 and all but the fact they are releasing it in 3 different parts. One for each race is kinda stupid, its blizzards way of wanting to make a shit load more money! Diablo 3 will be awesome, minus the fact we will prob have to pay for online since Blizzard is wanting to make a Blizzard account to play all there games online for a monthly fee.

Where did you hear this? That's bullshit. The beauty of Battle.net was that it was free.

Its not BS. My buddy has WoW and they wanted him to convert his WoW Account to a Battlenet account. So its step one on them into them putting this new model together.

Check there you can see the proof.

There is more proof.

Thus its not BS!

First off, I wasn't calling your claim bullshit, but the idea of Blizzard charging people to play. THAT is what is bullshit.

But then again, your 'proof' is random people on the internet making claims. No official word, not even from a Blizzard employee. So I think I'm going to wager a big 'no' on this one, which is good news since free is better than not free.

Is it well known that Blizzard added a Beta application to their Battle.net Account page? I just found out about it day and signed up. I was extremely pessimistic about it shortly after it was announced, but reading the tidbits here and there have revived my interest.

I think its kind of weird that some of SCs most dedicated fans can actually play the SC2 game in their head and provide feedback on how much mineral/time it takes for buildings or upgrades. I mostly read up on video game news through SomethingAwful forums, but supposedly Blizzard accepts this as acceptable feedback from people who have yet to get their hands on SC2.

It's not really weird. You play this game enough and you get a sense of how fast you're supposed to be gathering stuff. It's just habit.

Does anyone whether theres going to be a Warcraft 4 as well to go along with these two?

Posted by CONNERMAN2000 on May-17-2009 23:24:

It hasn't been announced yet, but I'm sure there will be later on down road. For now, WoW has the popularity crown.
