Well, I guess I can't say that yet. I'm really worn down from this past week and I'm trying to quit smoking at the same time. I'm a little on edge, to say the least.

loved the location of our 2-room shelborne condo, but one bathroom for seven people wasn't sufficient. too many fubar'ed people in close quarters, plus it was a nightmare to coordinate from the get-go.

I can't wait for next year's WMC and hopefully the economy will have jumped back up again so it will be even better! I already miss it too much even though I live over here it isn't the same lol.

$100 parties and $15 tinyass mixed drinks...wmc is recession-proof. tbh, i could stand for fewer people to be in attendance. some of the parties were miserable, they were so packed.

Bring alcohol with you next year. I didn't get patted down at all outside of SSFD. Another idea would be to prefunk at your hotel or one of the many bars/restaurants in the area. SoBe is not all that expensive outside of the WMC events.

we usually do carry-with but forgot to to a lot of events, though by day three, the shelborne bouncers let us bring in whatever we wanted [bacardi 151 on ice ]. and lol i live here...drinks are expensive year-round at clubs.

I found a liquor store selling little plastic flask puches that worked AWESOME for packing into parties. I didnt get patted down at a single party. I was buying $3-$5 cokes and puttin 2 shots of Jack in it each time. Jacked up for the cost of one drink when i had 5!!

As for what I would do different?

-Budget better through out the year so I can spend more when I get there.
-Yacht party again
-Stay in a bigger/nicer hotel (no aero bed to get a hole in next year)
-Don't be suckered in by the big pool parties, they really arent that great.
-Fly JetBlue every time, DirectTV for the win! (Watching Tiger Woods win it on the 18th while flying over the Gulf of Mexico is awesome!)

... hit more than 1 pool party
... go to one boat party
... book an extra day to chill and actually hit the pools and beaches
... try to stay away from the smokes
