Never played it, but from what I hear, if you want anything worthwhile to come of the experience, you have to dedicate a shitload of time to it. Not a good idea.

There are 13 year olds out there who will level your character up to level 99 for like $50. Google "WOW leveling service" or something like that. I know someone who paid to have his character maxed out. It'll save you hundreds of hours of grinding.

WoW is not a bad game by any means. It has a very consistently great art style to it, and a lot of the game has become extremely streamlined for people who don't have a load of time to dedicate to it. But yeah, there are a lot of people who dedicate entirely too much time to it.

I played for 2.5 years...main was an undead rogue. This was before the last 2 x-pacs and I had him decked out in full Nightslayer and half of the next tier up from that. Can't remember what it was called but I can tell u this. DON'T DO IT!! It's nothing but cybering and u will piss off everyone in your real life. Plus it makes u fat

Grinding your way to the highest level might be fun, and a few months after that, doing all the easier five man dungeons, but for the most part, its gonna take away a lot of your free time especially if you want all the nice stuff in it.
